    Sploitware

    Sploitware

    Vulnerability analytics

...The focus is on practical exploitation skills: understanding memory corruption, reverse engineering, shellcode, privilege escalation, and platform specifics. By being a single, public list, it lowers the barrier for newcomers who want to go from “I know nothing about exploitation” to “I can follow a CTF writeup” in a guided way. It is also helpful for defenders and security engineers who want to understand offensive techniques to harden systems. The repo is community-friendly and can grow as new techniques, tools, and writeups appear.

    The Veronica Security Suite

    The Veronica Security Suite

    Veronica Security Suite

In 2007 I was greatly interested in using biometrics (fingerprints, etc.) to unlock my encrypted partition. After scouring the web searching for something that could accomplish this and finding nothing (even in 2017), my frustration had finally led me to start this project. Its my first cross-platform project and my first ever LINUX project. This project aims to provide a unique security layer for both Linux and Windows. It is written completely in C and aims to be simple and easily extensible for anyone wanting to expand on its functionality.

    Cabot

    Cabot

Self-hosted, easily-deployable monitoring and alerts service

...Best of all, you can use data that you're already pushing to Graphite/statsd to generate alerts, rather than implementing and maintaining a whole new system of data collectors. We built Cabot as a Christmas project at Arachnys because we couldn't wrap our heads around Nagios, and nothing else out there seemed to fit our use case. We're open-sourcing it in the hope that others find it useful.

    BTCore

A Collection of Useful Java/Swing Code

...It has tools that we scrapped together over our last few projects, and that we found were hard to implicate. So what we did was boil them down for your ease of use. Not everything is super glamorous, and there is nothing in this library you cant already do yourself, the idea is simply to take one thing out of your hands, so that you can focus on coding the important stuff. See features for some examples of code you'll find in BTCore.

    Reveal RootKit

Reveal Rootkit detects processes hidden by rootkits on POSIX systems.

Reveal Rootkit detects processes hidden by rootkits. It is intended to run out of cron or similar services on a regular base and avoids verbose output as long as nothing was found. It's fast and shouldn't produce false positives. Reveal RootKit is tested mainly on Linux but should work on other POSIX systems with a /proc filesystem, too.

    WhitewallManager

    Whitelist manager

...Default-deny disallows all but access granted to resources which you specifically allow. The advantage to this is that any new resources which turn out to be bad are blocked by default. Default allow disallows nothing and bad things are blocked as they are discovered. This means that you are exposed to any bad things which you don't know about. The reason most networks are modeled on default-allow is that default-deny is hard to manage. What WhitewallManager aims to accomplish is to make default-deny and whitelists manageable with a sensible and efficient work flow. ...
