The encryption uses AES-256 twice so it is harder to crack than the industry standard pure AES 256bit implementation (theoretical key size is 512 bit). Encrypt is a small application which allows you to encrypt your files and even write plain text to be encrypted in GZIP code so it effectively cannot be read by humans. Your note passing, personal diary and more is safe. As well as that, it can decode your GZIP messages back into plain text so it can be read again.
