    Flashbang

    Flashbang

    Project "Flashbang" - An open-source Flash-security helper

Flashbang is an open-source Flash-security helper tool designed to extract and display flashVars from a SWF that is “naked” (i.e. not wrapped in a bigger application) so that security testers can begin analysis (e.g. for XSS or other vectors) without decompiling the whole SWF. It is built atop Mozilla’s Shumway project. It works in modern browsers via HTML/JS, can also be run locally, and does not upload SWFs to servers (processing stays local). It is still considered alpha quality. Clone the repo using the --recursive flag, so that all necessary submodules are cloned as well. Ideally, clone it into an Apache web-root (or any other web server). Prepare the environment for Shumway to work properly.

    Gitrob

    Gitrob

Scans GitHub repositories for potentially sensitive files

Gitrob is an open source reconnaissance tool designed to identify potentially sensitive files that have been committed to public GitHub repositories. It helps security professionals, researchers, and organizations detect accidental data exposure by scanning repositories associated with specific GitHub users or organizations. The tool works by cloning repositories and analyzing their commit history to search for files that match predefined signatures of sensitive data. These signatures are used to flag items such as credentials, private keys, configuration files, and other materials that may expose confidential information. By automatically inspecting repository histories, Gitrob simplifies the process of identifying security risks that might otherwise remain unnoticed in publicly accessible codebases. The results of the scan are presented through a built-in web interface that allows users to browse findings, review flagged files, and analyze potential leaks more efficiently.

    Hakrawler

    Hakrawler

Fast Go web crawler for discovering URLs and web app endpoints

hakrawler is a lightweight command-line web crawler built in Go that is designed to quickly discover URLs, endpoints, and assets within web applications. It is primarily used during the reconnaissance phase of security testing, bug bounty hunting, and penetration testing. It works by automatically crawling web pages and extracting links, JavaScript file locations, and other resources that may reveal additional attack surface or hidden functionality. hakrawler is implemented as a simple and efficient crawler using the Gocolly library, which allows it to perform fast and concurrent crawling of web pages. It accepts URLs through standard input, making it easy to integrate into command-line pipelines with other security tools. This workflow enables researchers to combine it with subdomain enumeration, HTTP probing, and vulnerability scanning utilities to automate reconnaissance processes. hakrawler can follow links within a website and optionally include subdomains.

It uses eBPF and Linux Security Modules(LSM) for fortifying workloads based on Cloud Containers, IoT/Edge, and 5G networks. It enforces policy-based controls. KubeArmor lessens the attack surface on pods, containers, and virtual machines. For inline mitigation, it uses Linux Security Modules (LSMs) like AppArmor, BPF-LSM, and SELinux to provide security without changing the pod or container or without host-level adjustments. KubeArmor simplifies their intricacies and makes enforcing policy simple. It functions as a non-privileged daemonset and has host, pod, and container monitoring capabilities.

    Microsoft SEAL

Easy-to-use and powerful homomorphic encryption library

Microsoft SEAL is an open-source homomorphic encryption library that allows computations to be performed directly on encrypted data, with no need for any decryption. Developed by the Cryptography and Privacy Research group at Microsoft, it enables software engineers to build end-to-end encrypted data storage and computation services that never have to procure the customer's key. Microsoft SEAL is very easy to use, compile and run in many different environments. Homomorphic encryption is an encryption scheme that allows the cloud to compute directly on the encrypted data, without requiring the data to be decrypted first. This results in encrypted computations remaining encrypted, decrypted only by the data owner using the secret key.

    MozDef

    MozDef

    MozDef: Mozilla Enterprise Defense Platform

MozDef aims to bring real-time incident response and investigation to the defensive toolkits of security operations groups in the same way that Metasploit, LAIR, and Armitage have revolutionized the capabilities of attackers. We use MozDef to ingest security events, alert us to security issues, investigate suspicious activities, handle security incidents, and visualize and categorize threat actors. The real-time capabilities allow our security personnel all over the world to work collaboratively even though we may not sit in the same room together and see changes as they occur. The integration plugins allow us to have the system automatically respond to attacks in a preplanned fashion to mitigate threats as they occur.

    Phishing Catcher

    Phishing Catcher

Real-time phishing domain detection via Certificate Transparency logs

phishing_catcher is a security monitoring tool designed to detect potential phishing domains in near real time by analyzing TLS certificate issuance events. It listens to Certificate Transparency (CT) logs through the CertStream API and evaluates newly issued certificates as they appear. Each certificate often contains one or more domain names, which the tool analyzes to determine whether they resemble suspicious or phishing-related domains. phishing_catcher applies a configurable scoring mechanism that assigns numeric values to certain keywords, patterns, or top-level domains found within certificate domain names. When a domain’s score exceeds predefined thresholds, it is flagged as potentially malicious and reported accordingly. It operates continuously, processing certificate updates as they arrive and displaying or logging domains that appear suspicious. This approach allows analysts, researchers, and security teams to identify phishing infrastructure early.
