    grype

    grype

A vulnerability scanner for container images and filesystems

A vulnerability scanner for container images and filesystems. Easily install the binary to try it out. Works with Syft, the powerful SBOM (software bill of materials) tool for container images and filesystems. Scan the contents of a container image or filesystem to find known vulnerabilities. Find vulnerabilities for major operating system packages. Find vulnerabilities for language-specific packages. You can also choose another destination directory and release version for the installation. The destination directory doesn't need to be /usr/local/bin, it just needs to be a location found in the user's PATH and writable by the user that's installing Grype. If you're using GitHub Actions, you can simply use our Grype-based action to run vulnerability scans on your code or container images during your CI workflows.

    CrowdSec

    CrowdSec

Firewall able to analyze visitor behavior & provide adapted response

CrowdSec - an open-source massively multiplayer firewall able to analyze visitor behavior & provide an adapted response to all kinds of attacks. It also leverages the crowd power to generate a global IP reputation database to protect the user network. Crowdsec shouldn't, and didn't crash any production so far we know, but some features might be missing or undergo evolutions. IP Blocklists are limited to very-safe-to-ban IPs only (~5% of the global database so far, will grow soon). A modern behavior detection system, written in Go. It stacks on Fail2ban's philosophy, but uses Grok patterns & YAML grammar to analyse logs, a modern decoupled approach (detect here, remedy there) for Cloud/Containers/VM based infrastructures. Once detected you can remedy threats with various bouncers (block, 403, Captchas, etc.) and blocked IPs are shared among all users to further improve their security. Crowdsec is an open-source, lightweight software, detecting peers with aggressive behaviors.

    GnuPG

    GnuPG

Complete and free implementation of the OpenPGP standard

GnuPG (GNU Privacy Guard) is a widely used free software encryption system that implements the OpenPGP standard to provide secure communication and data protection across multiple platforms. It uses a hybrid cryptographic approach combining symmetric encryption for performance with public-key cryptography for secure key exchange and identity verification. The software allows users to encrypt files and messages, create digital signatures, and manage cryptographic keys, making it a foundational tool for privacy-focused workflows. Because it is open source and licensed under the GNU GPL, GnuPG can be freely audited, modified, and redistributed, which has contributed to its adoption in security-sensitive environments. It is primarily command-line driven but can be integrated into email clients, messaging tools, and graphical front-ends for broader usability.

    Google Authenticator Android

    Google Authenticator Android

Open source fork of the Google Authenticator Android app

Google Authenticator for Android is the open-source two-factor authentication app that generates time-based (TOTP) and counter-based (HOTP) one-time codes entirely on the device. It’s designed to be simple, offline, and standards-compliant, so any service that supports OATH OTP can interoperate with it. The app streamlines enrollment via QR codes or manual key entry, then displays rotating numeric codes with clear account labels to reduce mistakes during login. Because secrets are stored on the device and codes are computed locally, it works even without a data connection and avoids server-side dependencies. The UI focuses on clarity and safety cues—timers, account naming, and basic management—to make 2FA adoption accessible to non-experts. For developers, the project doubles as a reference implementation of OTP enrollment, storage, and code generation on Android.

    Privacy Badger

    Privacy Badger

Privacy Badger automatically learns to block invisible trackers

Privacy Badger is a browser extension that stops advertisers and other third-party trackers from secretly tracking where you go and what pages you look at on the web. If an advertiser seems to be tracking you across multiple websites without your permission, Privacy Badger automatically blocks that advertiser from loading any more content in your browser. To the advertiser, it’s like you suddenly disappeared. Privacy Badger was born out of our desire to be able to recommend a single extension that would automatically analyze and block any tracker or ad that violated the principle of user consent; which could function well without any settings, knowledge, or configuration by the user; which is produced by an organization that is unambiguously working for its users rather than for advertisers; and which uses algorithmic methods to decide what is and isn’t tracking.

    subfinder

    subfinder

    Fast passive subdomain enumeration tool

Subfinder is a high-performance passive subdomain discovery tool built for fast and reliable asset enumeration. It focuses exclusively on collecting valid subdomains from a wide range of passive online sources, prioritizing accuracy and speed over intrusive scanning techniques. The project is widely used in bug bounty hunting, penetration testing, and attack surface mapping because it minimizes noise while producing actionable results. Its modular architecture allows users to enable dozens of data providers through API keys, expanding coverage as needed. Subfinder integrates easily into automation pipelines and CI workflows thanks to its clean command-line design and structured output formats. The tool is intentionally specialized, doing one job extremely well rather than attempting to be an all-in-one scanner. In practice, Subfinder serves as a foundational building block for modern reconnaissance stacks.

HFV (Hidden Folder Virus) Cleaner Pro

HFV (Hidden Folder Virus) Cleaner Pro

A Small Utility programmed to destroy Win32:Atraps-PZ[Trojan]

Many a times when we connect our PenDrive to a PC or Laptop, wedon't see our files and folders, instead see one or multiple shortcuts. Assuming these shortcuts as innocent, we launch them which in turn infects our PC or laptop with a virus which the geeks call Win32:Atraps-PZ[Trojan] Simply speaking, the shortcut creates a backdoor to your system so that it can access all your files, services and privileges within that system & all others connected to it without your permission. This is where HFV comes to help...Simply paste the location of your Infected directory on the box & click Delete virus to get rid of virus. As a safety precaution, keep this software backed up on system as well since the virus which hides all files and creates a shortcut can also hide this software as well. P.S.It can also be used to hide your private data from Neighbors and Roommates;)

    IBM's TPM 2.0 TSS

    IBM's TPM 2.0 TSS

This is a user space TSS for TPM 2.0. It implements the functionality equivalent to (but not API compatible with) the TCG TSS working group's ESAPI, SAPI, and TCTI API's (and perhaps more) but with a hopefully simpler interface. It comes with over 110 "TPM tools" samples that can be used for scripted apps, rapid prototyping, education, and debugging. It also comes with a web based TPM interface, suitable for a demo to an audience that is unfamiliar with TCG technology. It is also useful for basic TPM management. See the below link for operating system, platform, and hardware support. See the companion IBM TPM 2.0 at https://sourceforge.net/projects/ibmswtpm2/ and attestation at projects/ibmtpm2acs I welcome (1) bug reports, (2) documentation requests, (3) suggestions for ECC tests, and (4) requests for features for which you have an immediate need. SCAP Security Guide

    SCAP Security Guide

Security automation content in SCAP, Bash, Ansible, and other formats

The purpose of this project is to create security policy content for various platforms, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), as well as products, Firefox, Chromium, JRE. We aim to make it as easy as possible to write new and maintain existing security content in all the commonly used formats. "SCAP content" refers to documents in the XCCDF, OVAL and Source DataStream formats. These documents can be presented in different forms and by different organizations to meet their security automation and technical implementation needs. For general use, we recommend Source DataStreams because they contain all the data you need to evaluate and put machines into compliance. The datastreams are part of our release ZIP archives. "Ansible content" refers to Ansible playbooks generated from security profiles. These can be used both in check-mode to evaluate compliance, as well as run-mode to put machines into compliance.

    pwnedOrNot

    pwnedOrNot

Check breached emails and find exposed passwords from public dumps

pwnedOrNot is an open source OSINT tool designed to investigate whether an email address has been compromised in known data breaches and to identify exposed credentials associated with that account. The tool works by interacting with the HaveIBeenPwned (HIBP) API to determine if a given email address appears in breach databases. If the email is found in a breach, the tool proceeds to search for associated passwords within publicly available data dumps. This two-phase approach allows investigators, security professionals, and researchers to assess the exposure level of compromised accounts using publicly accessible breach information. The tool displays useful breach details such as the name of the breach, the affected domain, the breach date, and several status indicators related to the authenticity and status of the breach. pwnedOrNot can also analyze domains to determine whether they have been involved in breaches and can list all breached domains available through the HIBP database.
