A set of tiny applications, shell scripts and other tools useful in ev
Tiny Applications Collection (or tinyapps) is a set of small tools which make everyday use of a Unix-based system even more enjoyable. The idea is to allow users to share their own tools that they find useful in their everyday use, and look at what others are doing in case there's something that may be of use. Usually putting out one or two files involves too many steps for anyone to bother, but here, tinyapps is a perfect place for such applications!
Encrypt and manage secret text data
PCSecrets is a PC application that holds secret text data - protected by a master password and strong encryption. Use it as a password manager or just somewhere to hold any text data securely in one place. It can hold a second, hidden set of secrets that is undetectable and plausibly deniable. The program is also a PC counterpart of the Secrets for Android app. It uses the same data structure and provides synchronization that allows easy transfer of secrets between the two. For those who find the personal computer environment more comfortable for data entry and editing (i.e. a real keyboard), PCSecrets provides an alternative way to manage your secrets. Sync is also effectively a form of backup. To enable the sync feature with Secrets for Android, you need to install the PCSecrets sync app PCSSync, downloadable from SourceForge or Google Play. PCSecrets import plus PCSSync provides a route to importing secret data into Secrets for Android that would not otherwise be possible.

FortNotes Online Password Manager
FortNotes is a Fort Knox for user data. It's based on the BlackBox technology, encrypted container. All the records created on this site immediately encrypted right in the browser with the help of AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) and only then are sent to the server. It means nobody but the data owner can have the access to the secret data. Neither Internet traffic interception nor too curious site administrators can get the unencrypted data. Without the user's password it would be just a digital mess. Black boxes extracted only on the FortNotes site after a user enters his password. Therefore users do not trust theirs important data just to some strangers. They trust to FortNotes solely storing theirs encrypted black boxes. When they need the data inside - request is sending and the corresponding black box is decrypted for the owner. The process is transparent and fully automated: it's necessary only to enter the password.
Provide users with a managed temporary access to arbitary FTP
This tool allows you to set proxied access for your users, using predefined FTP accounts. System works like this: Users connects to FTP proxy just like they do with a regular FTP, but using specially formed string as a username (string, that includes their internal profile name and desired target FTP) and their internal password. If they are allowed to access this host, proxy will establish connection with a target FTP and authenticate using real credentials. After that, server will act as a proxy between user and target FTP, forwarding requests back and forth.
