Like the Linux "locate" and "updatedb", "winlocate" is a very simple solution for finding files and folders in a windows environment system. All is done by using 2 scripts (.BAT), some GNU tools and Sqlite3. I hope you will enjoy this release. -

Find is a fast little file search utility. It indexes all file names inside a chosen folder or hard disk, and once this is done it finds the files you are looking for in milliseconds. The results are displayed in a list and can be opened or browsed to.
