...ParaSim calculates chemical similarities based on binary structural fingerprints. It does not compute fingerprints by itself but relies on third party software to do so. Basically, all types of structural fingerprints which can be stored in an array of bits (a bitset) can be used by ParaSim. ...It applies a dynamic programming algorithm to model whether changes within a block are likely a result of mutations, sequencing errors, or HRE. We use information from the nearby SNPs, so that if 1-2 alleles in a series of SNPs differs from the ancestral allele, it may be better explained as a mutation or sequencing error. But if a series of SNP alleles differ from the ancestral pattern, then it may be more likely that an HRE has occurred, particularly if the allele pattern matches that from another part of the tree better than that of the ancestral node. -

This project is an approach for synonym extraction and extending WordNet by the so found synonyms. The python application is realised as a kind of pipe that starts with a web-corpus-reader which is followed by several workers (tokenizers, lemmatizers, ...) and finally completed by a result writer. In contrast to the state of the art approaches, this implementation is based on single words found in the web used as a corpus and translated to other languages. -

...It takes an input file, the probability of a bit being flipped, and, if specified, the size of the header of the file. The program was intended to take monochrome bitmap files as input, so that each bit refers to a pixel in the image and thus, it would be easy to see errors in the output file, as some of the pixels would be flipped; however, it will work on any input file. -

rp6simul is a simulator for the RP6 robot (AREXX Engineering)
...Besides support for all peripherals on the robot base, the simulator also fully supports the m32 extension module, and both can be simulated either independently or simultaneously. Furthermore, a simple 2d environment can easily be created to test lighting, collision, motor speeds and so on. The simulator does not run native AVR files, but instead a thin wrapper is provided so that the AVR code can be compiled natively. Thanks to this wrapper, and a flexible Lua driver interface, the simulator emulates most of the IO registers, requiring no or minimal code modifications. rp6simul is primarily developed on Linux, but a Windows version will also be released. -
