slab3d is a real-time virtual acoustic environment.
slab3d is a real-time virtual acoustic environment rendering system. It includes two rendering applications, libraries for spatial auditory display and audio signal processing development, and a set of tools for HRTF analysis and visualization.
Advanced acoustic detection, classification and localization
Advanced detection, classification and localization (DCL) of marine mammals and passive acoustic monitoring (PAM). Code is being developed as Matlab routines, interfaces for Ishmael (http://www.bioacoustics.us/ishmael.html), and in other formats.
CoRoPa stands for Computational Rough Paths. The aim of CoRoPa is to provide a software framework for various ideas related to Rough Path Theory, including rough differential equations and the digital description of serial data streams.

SoundRuler is a tool for acoustic analysis, graphing and teaching. It interactively recognizes and measures 35 temporal and spectral properties of each sound in a file. It also features several measurement, graphing and didactic modules.
VibroToolbox is a tool for research and education in vibrometry. Test your audio equipment, describe responses to vibratory stimulation and analyze directionality. It works with precision i/o hardware or simple sound cards, various sensors and speakers.
Yet Another Audio Feature Extractor is a toolbox for audioanalysis. Easy to use and efficient at extracting a large number of audio features simultaneously. WAV and MP3 files supported, or embedding in C++, Python or Matlab applications.
MATAA (Mat's Audio Analyzer) is a flexible and versatile audioanalysis system based on Matlab or GNU Octave.
MATAA was removed from SourceForge.
Please visit https://github.com/mbrennwa/mataa for further information.
Version 1.1 is no longer supported. Please see the new version at https://usc-imi.github.io/aeo-light/
Description for 1.1 continues below:
AEO-Light 1.1 is an open-source software application that takes a digital scan of motion picture film with optical sound tracks and directly reproduces the audio, producing as a result a synchronized sound film file.
Funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and by the University of South Carolina.

Virtual Sound Level Meter for analyzing calibrated sound files
This project is the MATLAB development of a virtual sound level meter. The program will read in a calibrated .wav file and allow the user to analyze it as one would analyze a sound field with a sound level meter. The software implements Fast, Slow, Impulse and LEQ; A, C and Flat Weighting; Ln and Noise Dose analysis; Octave and 1/3 Octave band analysis; high resolution FFT analysis and spectrograms. Band analysis can be made using fast FFT methods or slower, but ANSI standard...
This is a fast C implementation of Arturo Camacho's SWIPE' pitch extraction algorithm. See the project homepage for more about the advantages of the SWIPE' algorithm. swipe-1.0.tar.gz contains the current source, which should compile quite neatly.
MATLAB Audio Database Toolbox enables easy access and filtering of audio databases such as TIMIT and YOHO by their metadata. The database toolbox comes to replace the manual filtering and custom coding usually required for accessing such databases.
