SMTracker v2.0 is a MATLAB-based graphical user interface (GUI) for automatically quantifying, visualising and managing SMT data via five interactive panels, allowing the user to interactively explore tracking data from several conditions, movies and cells on a track-by- track basis. Diffusion parameters and motion behaviour is analysed by several methods: a) by a Gaussian mixture model ,or b) by using the cumulative probability distribution of square displacements, c) Mean-Squared displacement fits, d) by Jump Distance analysis. It also includes exploratory tools to visualise single trajectories or dynamic heat maps.

Qi is a collection of MATLAB tools for the quantitative analysis of flow field images. Our Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) tool, prana, implements a Robust Phase Correlation kernel for PIV analysis, and now includes Particle Tracking Velocimetry and sizing tools. We present an open-source computational framework for segmentation and tracking of cell nuclei with high accuracy and speed. We demonstrate its (1) generality, by reconstructing cell lineages in four-dimensional, terabyte-sized image data of fruit-fly, zebrafish and mouse embryos, acquired with three different types of fluorescence microscopes, (2) scalability, by analyzing advanced stages of development with up to 20,000 cells per time point, at 26,000 cells min-1 on a single computer workstation, and (3) ease of use, by adjusting only two parameters across all data sets and providing visualization and editing tools for efficient data curation. ...

...We process around 1500 samples/year resulting in hundreds of millions of sequencing reads, requiring automation and posing new challenges in data storage, monitoring of sample process and computational tools for analyses. KinectA is an application for motion tracking via Kinect Sensor – including hand, skeleton and object tracking. This software has been developed for the needs of media artists and designers. It provides a clearly arranged interface with multiple functionalities. The tracked information can be send via OSC to other hard- and software. KinectA is available for Mac and Windows.
