    SparkyOS

    SparkyOS

SparkyLinux editions for small businesses; first: Sparky Stereo OS

SparkyOS is the name Daniel Ramos and Paweł "pavroo" Pijanowski gave to what they build on SparkyLinux for small businesses: Servers and workstations with an identity of their own. It follows SparkyLinux closely, and SparkyLinux follows Debian. The first edition is Sparky Stereo OS 9 "Mashtabba", on Debian 14 "Forky" with KDE Plasma. It makes stereo 3D and deep colour part of the system instead of a feature of a few programs. Programs hand the desktop one format, full side by side, and the desktop shows it on whatever screen you have: a 3D television in its own HDMI 3D modes, red and cyan paper glasses on any monitor, or a headset. The missing pieces are written, tested and offered upstream; mpv, HandBrake, MKVToolNix, Universal Media Server, Qt Multimediaand Bino have merged them. ...

    IPS Framework

A simple Python framework for loosely-coupled multiphysics simulations

The IPS Framework has migrated to https://github.com/HPC-SimTools/IPS-framework The IPS framework was developed to support loosely-coupled integrated modeling of fusion plasmas (and was originally the Integrated Plasma Simulator). However, the design is quite general, and is suitable for many scientific and engineering domains. In addition to plasma physics, it is also being used in the engineering of batteries. One of the novel features of the IPS framework is its ability to support parallelism at multiple levels: components can launch individual parallel tasks, and also launch multiple tasks concurrently. ...

    erf

error function and related functions in pure standard Fortran 2008

...However, they take only real arguments. This package provides a BSD licensed Fortran 2008 module with erf(z), where z is a complex argument. The calculation is based on calculating w(z), the Faddeyeva (plasma dispersion) function. Two algorithms are implemented: TOMS 680 and 916, http://www.netlib.org/toms/. The simple test program calculates values in the Abramowitz, Stegun.
