    EDM Calibration Baseline Fitting

    EDM Calibration Baseline Fitting

EDMFit is an adjustment tool to estimate EDM calibration parameters.

An EDM calibration baseline is used to derive specific instrument errors of the electronic distance measurement (EDM) unit of a total station. EDMFit is a simple adjustment tool to estimate the EDM calibration parameters (addition constant and/or scale parameter). The adjustment process is according to ISO 17123-4. The parameters are checked for significance, to avoid an overestimation. Based on two classical hypothesis testing, EDMFit provides a reliable outlier detection. For...

    MIST

    MIST

A MATLAB toolbox to simulate optical systems

Modal Interferometer Simulation Tool (MIST) is a MATLAB toolbox that can simulate arbitrary resonant optical systems in the paraxial beam approximation. It allows the user to define any optical setup (composed typically of laser sources, mirrors, lenses, electro-optical modulators and detectors) and to compute the static laser field at any point. It uses a Hermite-Gauss modal decomposition to simulate diffraction limited optics.

    Depolarization analysis tools

    Depolarization analysis tools

Tools for the accurate analysis of Raman depolarization measurement

This programme addresses the notoriously difficult problem to quantitatively link measured Raman depolarization values to theoretical polarizability tensor quantities, since quantum calculations do not incorporate experimental parameters. A numerical model is programme to calculate, for realistic experimental configurations, effective Raman line strength functions, which find their way into depolarization ratios. The model is based on interlinked integrations over the angles in the light...
