    OxyWitleaf2CSV

Witleaf pulse oxymeter BIN format data decoder.

The simple program is a Witleaf handheld pulse oxymeter BIN file format data decoder. It reads BIN-files produced by popular professional pulse oxymeters manufactured by Shenzhen Witleaf Medical Electronics Co., Ltd. (like the WIT-S300 shown in the photo on the project icon) and produces a CSV-formatted output with the extracted data to stdout (gets printed to the console if not directed otherwise). headsort

headsort: streaming sort + 2x faster than gnu sort

headsort sorts files by line and fields. Options can pick field order and etc. In general headsort can sort in 1/2 the time sort(1) (mergesort) does in situations involving either pipes or mult column selection; less than 1/2 with both. Best case was about opposite that of sort(1)*. NEW* hsort main algorithm speed improvement (applies to all; 27,29,31). Now faster than sort(1) (in all cases tested). Using triangulation, hsort begins piped sorted output when 1st bin is done. ...

    GrainSizeTools script

    GrainSizeTools script

A Python script for estimating the grain size from thin sections

Homepage & docs: http://marcoalopez.github.io/GrainSizeTools/ GrainSizeTools is a free, open-source, cross-platform script written in Python that provides several tools for (1) estimating average grain size in polycrystalline materials, (2) characterizing the nature of the distribution of grain sizes (either from apparent distributions or approximating 3D grain size distributions via stereology), and estimating differential stress via paleopizometers. The script requires as the input the...

    MaxBin

An automatic tool for binning metagenomics sequences

MaxBin is a software for binning assembled metagenomic sequences based on an Expectation-Maximization algorithm. Users could understand the underlying bins (genomes) of the microbes in their metagenomes by simply providing assembled metagenomic sequences and the reads coverage information or sequencing reads. For users' convenience MaxBin will report genome-related statistics, including estimated completeness, GC content and genome size in the binning summary page. Users could use MEGAN or...

Fortran codes for SCNURS method - Side Cut Non-Uniform Residual Stress

SCNURS - Side Cut Non-Uniform Residual Stress measurement method for plates, - is a destructive RS measurement method developed in Moscow, Russia and later in Bristol, UK. The method is specifically designed for the measurement of highly non-uniform RS fields, including discontinuities, in plates. This project collects all codes which implement forward and inverse solution to the RS problem. The codes are in modern Fortran with OpenMP. The codes are distributed under 2-clause BSD...

    T-lex

    T-lex

Transposable Element annotation using Next-Generation Sequencing data

The T-lex package contains two pipelines. The T-lex pipeline calls presence/absence of known TE insertions using re-sequencing data. On top of the genotyping, this pipeline also allows to re-annotate TEs and discover traces of transposition events called Target Site Duplication (TSD). The other T-lex pipeline discovers and annotates de novo TE insertions. http://petrov.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/Tlex.html
