gVirtualXRay is a C++ library to simulate X-ray imaging. It is based on the Beer-Lambert law to compute the absorption of light (i.e. photons) by 3D objects (here polygon meshes). It is implemented on the graphics processing unit (GPU) using the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL).
SimpleGVXR is a smaller library build on the top of gVirtualXRay. It provides wrappers to Python, R, Ruby, Tcl, C#, Java, and GNU Octave.
Web app for all-grain brewers. Automate your electric brewery.
This project is UI to guide the user through the steps of home brewing.
Each beer has a recipe of ingredients, but it also has a “recipe” for the process to make the beer. This app allows you to load a recipe (BeerXML), guide you through the brewing steps and record any details so that you can improve next time.

A Porter stemming or stemmer algorithm coded in ooRexx
...Output from the program ends up in the terminal window (standard out) and may be redirected to an output file.
Syntax:
rexx ooPorter myInputfile.txt > myOutputfile.txt
The program only works for stemming English words.
The source code is distributed under a free beer license; you are free to use the ooRexx source code as you please and no restrictions whatsoever apply as far as the type of beer is involved.
Calculates alcohol content by weight and volume based on specific gravity readings. Also determines plato values, calories, refractive index and attenuation. If the values match a style of beer, or cider, it lists the style, and SRM for the style.
The program implements John Koza's basic formulation of a genetic program. The application of the GP is John Sterman's beer game. The program is written in LISP, and executes in GNU clisp. I have run it successfully on both Linux and Windows.
