A wireless push-type networksimulator that considers locality of demand for performance improvement. The network environment consists of multiple directed emitters for parallel data broadcasting. Performance depends on the mean response time of clients.
TRMSim-WSN (Trust and Reputation Models Simulator for WirelessSensor Networks) is a Java-based simulator aimed to test Trust and Reputation models for WSNs. It provides several Trust and Reputation models and new ones can be easily added.
WSNWARE is an open source Java/OSGi middleware, designed for monitoring, controlling and standardizing WirelessSensorNetwork. WSNWARE is a normalized message oriented middleware running on (and developed for) any OSGi containers.
Pamvotis is a Wireless LAN Simulator for all the current physical layer extentions of the IEEE 802.11 (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g) standard and for the IEEE 802.11e Draft for Quality of Service in WLANs.
Simple GUI tool for creating and manipulating WSN topologies
TOPO is a simple tool that allows the user to create and manipulate arbitrary WirelessSensorNetwork (WSN) topologies without worrying about the anomalies that could arise using a text-base topology description. It is fast and easy to use and can accelerate small scale projects such as network simulation.
The tool is still undergoing development stage and is open to extension. One the candidate component to be soon integrated is a WSN discrete event simulator.
