As a medical blogger, I felt that there is a need for platform-independent medical dictionary. Hence 'java 8'. The dictionary must be customizable ie. user should be able to add, delete words. Hence, the use of text file for medical data, instead of xml or some database or sql or some hard-to-understand things. Java 8 can be invoked even from usb pen drives.
