    Alpha Dose Rate Calculator (ADRC)

    Alpha Dose Rate Calculator (ADRC)

Alpha radiation code for dosimetry calculations by Angus Siberry

ADRC is a geometrical alpha radiation code designed to calculate doses from radionuclide-containing solids exposed by surrounding media. The current version is only applicable to UO2 in water (radiolysis rates are also calculated in the results). More radionuclide containing materials and surrounding media options coming soon. **Note: All previous versions before v2 have an outdated script and any results used from simulations should be updated, reasons for this are explained in the technical release notes** UPDATE: This project has been migrated and developed to a cloud-based web application (http://rad-dose.herokuapp.com/)

An easy and simple tool to calculate the half-lives of radioactive substances and looking up elements on the table of elements by name, element symbol, atomic number, or atomic weight. Source code is on GitHub here: https://github.com/InfinityDevelopment/ChemistryCalculator NOTE: This is a Java program. Inside the ZIP there is the .jar file and .bat file(which you would run to start the program on Windows) required to run on Windows, however, to run it on other operating systems you will most likely need to execute "java -jar program.jar" on it from that OS's terminal.
