molecular editor and viewer
Luscus is the program for graphical display and editing of molecular systems. The program allows fast and easy building and/or editing different molecular structures, up to several thousands of atoms large. Luscus can also visualize dipole moments, normal modes, molecular orbitals, electron densities and electrostatic potentials. In addition, simple geometrical objects can be rendered in order to point out a geometrical feature or a physical quantity. The program is developed as a graphical interface for MOLCAS program package, however it's adaptive nature makes possible using luscus with other computational program packages and chemical formats. Visual Studio C++ OpenCV images visualizer
NativeViewer is a Visual Studio extension for visualization of OpenCV images stored in the cv::Mat class. A thumbnail image is shown during the debug when a variable is hovered by mouse with CTRL key pressed down. NativeViewer also formats the string displayed in the "Watch" window to express valuable cv::Mat information. The extension works only for native C++ code for both Win32 and x64 platforms. All Visual Studio .NET versions are supported. However, installation process differs for versions 2012, 2010 and pre-2010. Check the quick start guide for details: https://sourceforge.net/p/nativeviewer/wiki/QuickStartGuide Note that if you have Visual Studio 2012 or later, I recommend using Image Watch extension from Microsoft: https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/e682d542-7ef3-402c-b857-bbfba714f78d

Data logging and visualization in 2D and 3D for STMs.
This is a project we - ten students, 16 to 18 years old, and one teacher - are currently working on in the so called "Physik-Projektkurs" at school in which we build and program our own scanning tunneling microscope. This software is designed for DAQ systems by BMCM (we use the USB-AD16F), but it should not be too difficult to adapt it to foreign systems. It currently supports resolutions up to 1024x1024, visualization in 2D and 3D using colors from predefined gradients, export to PNG, CSV, OBJ and more! Requires at least .Net Framework 4.0, DirectX 9, optional: BMCM driver for your DAQ system
Graphical Depth of Field Calculator
DOFView is a "Depth of Field" Calculator. It is a small application written in C++/Qt for Window and Linux to evaluate the effect of the focal, subject distance, and the f-Number change, on the depth of field. DOFView will report near and far distance limits, hyperfocal, total DoF etc., both in textual or graphical format. A simulation of what can be seen in the camera viewfinder is also shown in 3D. The application was inspired by my Nikon D5100, even if the user can set information and use this program selecting among hundreds of compact or DSLR camera models.

Fractals explorer which using GCC or my own evaluator for formulas compiling. Also QFractals support biomorphs colouring.
Interactive scientific graphing and data analysis software.
Alpha Plot can generate different types of 2D and 3D plots (such as line, scatter, bar, pie, and surface plots) from data that is either imported from ASCII files, entered by hand, or calculated using formulas. The data is held in spreadsheets which are referred to as tables with column-based data (typically X and Y values for 2D plots) or matrices (for 3D plots). The spreadsheets as well as graphs and note windows are gathered in a project and can be organized using folders. The built-in analysis operations include column/row statistics, (de)convolution, FFT and FFT-based filters. Scripting Console support in-place evaluation of mathematical expressions and scrtipting interface to ECMAScript like dynamic scripting language(java script). The GUI of the application uses the Qt toolkit. Periodic test builds are available here http://alphaplot.sourceforge.net/test-build.html

Scientific Visualisation Made Easy
The Simple Medical Imaging Library Interface (SMILI), pronounced 'smilie', is an open-source, light-weight and easy-to-use medical imaging viewer and library for all major operating systems. The main sMILX application features for viewing n-D images, vector images, DICOMs, anonymizing, shape analysis and models/surfaces with easy drag and drop functions. It also features a number of standard processing algorithms for smoothing, thresholding, masking etc. images and models, both with graphical user interfaces and/or via the command-line. See our YouTube channel for tutorial videos via the homepage. The applications are all built out of a uniform user-interface framework that provides a very high level (Qt) interface to powerful image processing and scientific visualisation algorithms from the Insight Toolkit (ITK) and Visualisation Toolkit (VTK). The framework allows one to build stand-alone medical imaging applications quickly and easily.
