A part of commercial Digital Signal Oscilloscope hasn't a support for *nix systems, we want to fill the gap and build a full port of windows Easy Scope 3.0 software for ATTEN/LeCroy/SIGLENT/B&K Precision products.

DevLogger is a software framework used to collect, monitor, and log data from any number of instruments or input devices simultaneously. Initial support provides for serial connections to Radio Shack 22-812 multimeters and My Weigh HD Scales.
EDMFit is an adjustment tool to estimate EDM calibration parameters.
An EDM calibration baseline is used to derive specific instrument errors of the electronic distance measurement (EDM) unit of a total station. EDMFit is a simple adjustment tool to estimate the EDM calibration parameters (addition constant and/or scale parameter). The adjustment process is according to ISO 17123-4. The parameters are checked for significance, to avoid an overestimation. Based on two classical hypothesis testing, EDMFit provides a reliable outlier detection. For uncertainties budgeting, EDMFit makes use of Monte-Carlo simulations and supports different distribution function: - Uniform distribution, - Triangular distribution and - Gaussian (normal) distribution. For refractive index determination, the application supports the following models: - Barrel and Sears (1939), - Edlen (1953, 1966), - Owens (1967), - IAG (1999) and - Ciddor (1996, 2002). The results of the adjustment are reported in a template-based and valid HTML5/CSS3 report.

The project has been created to develop a software that can help scientists in the area of physical chemistry with focus on foods data analysis tools that are currently mainly done by hand. In the first step, advanced analysis of texture analyzer compression data are provided and the project will be extended over time dependent on the time I can get to continue with it.

Python GUI program to work with Geiger counters like GMC-300/320/500
GeigerLog is a Python based GUI program to work with GQ Electronic's GMC-300 / 320 and now also GMC-500 Geiger counters. Available as "scripts" to run where a proper Python environment exists, or as "bundle", which brings its own Python environment (but currently runs on Linux only). GeigerLog allows reading of Geiger counter data, logging to file, printing to screen and plotting as graph, showing Count Rate vs. Time, both in various, selectable units. The history stored on the Geiger counter's internal memory can be extracted, analyzed and graphed in the same way. The graph is live auto-updated and allows various customization. Time ranges for analysis can be set manually or per left/right mouse click. GeigerLog can control some functions of a connected counter (limited to GMC-3xx counters!). Advanced analysis of the data now permits count rate histograms with Poisson fit for quality control of data, and FFT analysis for any periodic signal hidden within the data.

GraphicalOSfp is a python application which aims to collect random data issued by remote systems in IP and TCP sequences. These data are then displayed in a 3D referencial to highlight an attractor of the random engine of the remote machine.

HOPSA, high oxygen pressure sputter automation, is a Python 3 project to control a step wise sample creation Process. Although written for this specific task it is easy to adopt for any experimental task which changes hardware parameters and waits for a specific condition before proceeding. The graphical interface (QT4) includes plotting (matplotlib), instrument configuration/monitoring and a program step creator. The communication with the hardware is independent of the GUI and any number of devices can be selected. To modify the code for any other task only the hardware interface needs to be redefined.

HubbleView is a monitor calibration program that converts Yxy samples received from the Xrite Hubble to D65 and displays them on an RGB bar graph. HubbleView is helpful for setting white balance on broadcast monitors and projectors.
I2C4Java is a simple I2C-Java Demo. We use the Devantech USB-I2C Interface and the Microchip PICkit I2C Demoboard. The tar-file contains the complete Netbeans-Project and a compiled Jar-File. To start use i2c4java.sh or i2c4java.bat (Windows).
