Data aquasition software for Thurlby DSA524
DSAquire allows you to download and plot trace data from a Thurlby DSA524 digital storage adaptor (it's a 25 year old instrument, but better late than never, eh?). The data is downloaded via an RS232 serial link using a null modem cable. You can export the plot as an image or export the data in real-world units as a csv file. This software runs under Linux and also under Windows XP and later using Cygwin. Pre-compiled binaries are supplied, as are full sources under the GPL. The interface of provided via FLTK. Also hosted here are the service and operators' manuals for this instrument, as well as dumps of the firmware from the EPROM. Many thanks to those who have preserved these for posterity (the 2.79 and 2.86 firmware dumps where generated by me - the rest has been collected from around the 'net).

The Data Logging Service (DLS) is a data logging system for EtherLab, that is capable of collecting, compressing and storing high-frequency realtime data. The goal is, to allow the user unlimited and performant access to the stored data. A signal overview over a year is retrieved as fast as a tiny signal fluctuation, that happened in a fraction of a second.
DevLogger is a software framework used to collect, monitor, and log data from any number of instruments or input devices simultaneously. Initial support provides for serial connections to Radio Shack 22-812 multimeters and My Weigh HD Scales.
ECTk - The electrochemical tool kit
ECTk, the electrochemical tool kit, is a command line based application built on Tcl. It allows to define electrochemical experiments either interactively or via a script file sourced by ECTk. Virtually any potensiostat can be driven, the only condition being that the instrument has analogue inputs and outputs. ECTk is developed and maintained by the Electrocatalytic Green Engineering Group at Concordia University. ECTk communicates via any analogue IO board supported by the comedi library. This offers a great flexibility as a large number of IO boards are supported by comedi. ECTk is running under Linux and was developed under Linux Ubuntu. ECTk was developed with the aim to conduct experiments in electrochemistry with a great flexibility. In particular, ECTk can be extended to satisfy the needs for a particular application. It is for example possible to drive, besides a potensiostat, simultaneously other instruments like a rotating electrode set-up.
EDMFit is an adjustment tool to estimate EDM calibration parameters.
An EDM calibration baseline is used to derive specific instrument errors of the electronic distance measurement (EDM) unit of a total station. EDMFit is a simple adjustment tool to estimate the EDM calibration parameters (addition constant and/or scale parameter). The adjustment process is according to ISO 17123-4. The parameters are checked for significance, to avoid an overestimation. Based on two classical hypothesis testing, EDMFit provides a reliable outlier detection. For uncertainties budgeting, EDMFit makes use of Monte-Carlo simulations and supports different distribution function: - Uniform distribution, - Triangular distribution and - Gaussian (normal) distribution. For refractive index determination, the application supports the following models: - Barrel and Sears (1939), - Edlen (1953, 1966), - Owens (1967), - IAG (1999) and - Ciddor (1996, 2002). The results of the adjustment are reported in a template-based and valid HTML5/CSS3 report.
