An Interactive Visualisation for Tabular Data
TabuVis is a comprehensive visual analysis tool that provides a flexible, customizable and interactive visualization for tabular (or multidimensional) data. It utilizes scatter-plot visualization approach to provide comprehensive and interactive views for different attribute mappings. It provides both single scatter-plot and multiple scatter-plots. The project is available at: http://staff.scem.uws.edu.au/~vinh/projects/TabuVis/
Fast Model Based Variant Filtering Tool
Filtering out the prominent portion through the excessive amount of information produced by next generation techniques is a challenging task. Current tools enable to analyze next generation sequencing data in various methods. However, there is still need for fast, easy to use and efficacious tools. We provide an efficient filtering tool for next generation sequencing data produced by genetic disease studies. FMFilter allows to choose one of the inheritance models (recessive, dominant, compound heterozygous and de novo), the affected and control individuals to design the filtering mechanism. It provides an environment of analyzing these cases by removing the requirement of advanced computer techniques. It has the capability to filter with control individuals and eliminate the majority of the false alarms specific to a population. It requires negligible memory which enables to handle very large variant files in ordinary computers.

Software for simple linguistic experiments.
Software for simple linguistic experiments. The BlackSquare is designed to test subject's abilities to connect expressions or notions according to a given rules. The main advantages of the BlackSquare are: 1) its variability; 2) minimalistic user interface (suitable also for a touch screen); 3) sounds as a part of your experiment; 4) unadorned and non-disturbing appearance.
Addition, Subtraction & Multiplication for large integral numbers
This software executes addition, subtraction & multiplication for large integral numbers. You have the option to execute the program using as many numbers as you wish. The numbers can be as large as you wish ... the only restictrion is your computer's RAM space.

Quality improvement (QI) requires systematic and continuous efforts to enhance healthcare services. A healthcare provider might wish to compare local statistics with those from other institutions in order to identify problems and develop intervention to improve the quality of care. However, the sharing of institution information may be deterred by institutional privacy as publicizing such statistics could lead to embarrassment and even financial damage. In this article, we propose a PRivacy-prEserving Cloud-assisted quality Improvement Service in hEalthcare (PRECISE), which aims at enabling cross-institution comparison of healthcare statistics while protecting privacy. The proposed framework relies on a set of state-of-the-art cryptographic protocols including homomorphic encryption and Yao’s garbled circuit schemes. By securely pooling data from different institutions, PRECISE can rank the encrypted statistics to facilitate QI among participating institutes.
Diagrammatic visualization of Port data
This project is a “proof-of-concept” prototype that used diagrammatic visualization for presenting multi-dimensional port data, in relation to local and global events. The visualization emphasizes relations between land-side and wharf-side elements and thus conveys derivable knowledge on labor productivity and efficiency. It can be used to convey commodity flows through the port and state, modes of transport, facilities and their capacities, operational characteristics, intermodal operations, and parameters required for calculating system efficiency, benefits and costs.
