Geogame3D is a geographic game whose purpose is to locate some places on a 3D globe. See an example here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtafJDp9LU8 The game is widely configurable. The places proposed during the game can be changed. It is possible to play either with a mouse or even with a fancy Nintendo wii remote.
The intent of this project is to create an educational science program aimed at grade 6,7 & 8. The program will be an emulation of a Mars exploration mission. The mission will involve the deployment of robots to collect samples on a simulated Mars.
The functional model of the old calculator series Wang 700 and 15VSM
This project introduces a console application designed for functional emulation of the USA old calculator series Wang 700 and their USSR derivatives 15VSM (15ВСМ). The main goal of the project is emulation of those models made in Soviet Union: 15ВСМ-5, 15ВМ16/32/128 - which are also known as D3-28 (Д3-28). The choice of them is due to the extremely strong and authentic CPU command set developed by Soviet engineers as a superset around the original Wang 700's command set. While Wang 700 were just programmable calculators, Soviet machines were almost complete computers taking into account their advanced CPU command set, huge RAM volume, ability to work with wide set of peripheral devices including the video terminal 15IE (15ИЭ) and existence of BASIC and other programming languages written as loadable applications. Still I consider them as calculators also due to some aspects exclusively specific to calculators. The project is intended for research and education purposes.

Calculates Volume, Surface Area & Centroid of a Closed Triangular Mesh
The ObjectVolume program calculates the volume, surface area and centroid of a closed triangular mesh represented in an object file (.obj). The process goes through the list of triangles that make up the surface and, for each triangle, forms a tetrahedron with an external point. The program uses the origin (0,0,0). The volume of the tetrahedron is then calculated. Tetrahedrons with back facing triangles are added and those with forward facing triangles are subtracted yielding the object volume. A detailed description of the process is presented in the ObjectVolumeTutorial.doc document as well as program logic and results. A key component in the program is a subroutine that calculates the volume of a tetrahedron. Four sets of equations were tested and to my surprise all four produced similar results in accuracy and timing.

A freeware Qt based project which targets a Calculator which has views of bin/dec/hex in the same window. I have missed this feature in legacy calculators and some of the colleagues asked about it too, hence the origin of the idea.
