RFXCAM is an opensource CAD / CAM package targeted at CNC machines (Mills, routers...). The idea is to create the basic interface for geometry manipulation and toolpath creation. The CSV Transformer is a data processing tool which transforms .xml-Files to comma separated values. The CSV Transformer was created in a load and performance testing project, the use case was to be able to transform 2800 configuration files of a big banking application to a single .csv-File. With this single file it was possible to compare the whole configuration between two releases with the already available tool CSV Comparator. This enabled the team to verify if there were any changes that could have a potential performance impact.

Consensus Variant Effect Classification
The package provides SVM models to be used with SVMlight (http://svmlight.joachims.org/) for drawing a consensus out of individual 3rd-party predictions about the effect of mutations. The 3rd party tools are SIFT, Polyphen2, SNPs&GO and Mutation Assessor. The package also provides a series of Perl modules and scripts to assist in the preparation of data. The modules can be used to build custom tools and pipelines, whereas the scripts provide basic executable implementations based on the modules. SVMlight, SIFT, Polyphen2, SNPs&GO and Mutation Assessor are the property of their respective authors and institutions and are not distributed in this package.
DE-based Weight Optimisation for Heterogeneous Ensemble
We propose the use of Differential Evolution algorithm for the weight adjustment of base classifiers used in weighted voting heterogeneous ensemble of classifier. Average Matthews Correlation Coefficient (MCC) score, calculated over 10-fold cross-validation, has been used as the measure of quality of an ensemble. DE/rand/1/bin algorithm has been utilised to maximize the average MCC score calculated using 10-fold cross-validation on training dataset. The voting weights of base classifiers are optimized for the heterogeneous ensemble of classifiers aiming to attain better generalization performances on testing datasets.

Starting off as a simple LISP command in AutoCAD this HAVC pipe size calculator was migrated to a standalone Java application. Calculates HVAC minimum pipe ID based on GPM and FPS for numerous fluid types (found in the fluid density chart on EngineeringToolbox.com) Includes a table to automatically calculate riser piping sizes per floor. Read the README.txt file included in PipeSize.zip for instructions.

Une fois décompressé il vous donnera un fichier jar et des répertoires. Il suffira alors de cliquer sur le fichier jar pour que le programme se lance. Merci de tester ce programme et de me signaler tout dysfonctionnement. Ce programme existe en français, anglais, finnois, allemand. D'autres langues sont possibles car les données sont au format texte. Pour le moment certains fichiers ne sont pas encore traduits mais cela ne saurait tarder.
Semantic annotation of archaeology reports with respect to CIDOC-CRM
The semantic annotation system OPTIMA is the result of Andreas Vlachidis PhD work, (supervised by Prof. Douglas Tudhope, University of Glamorgan, UK). OPTIMA performs the NLP tasks of Named Entity Recognition, Relation Extraction, Negation Detection and Word Sense Disambiguation using hand-crafted rules and SKOS terminological resources (English Heritage Thesauri and Glossaries). The resulted semantic annotations are associated with classes of the (ISO 21127:2006) CIDOC Conceptual Reference Model (CRM) and its archaeological extension, CRM-EH. OPTIMA is also targeted at the detection and recognition of contextual relations between CRM entities. Such relations are modeled with respect to the CRM-EH archaeology extension. The pipeline targets the CIDOC-CRM entities; E19.Physical_Object, E53.Place, E49.Time_Appellation and E57.Material and the CRM-EH entities; EHE1001.Context_Event, EHE1002.Production_Event, EHE1004.Deposition_Event and P45.consists_of material property

PhenoSim3D is an application that presents computer simulations of real physical experiments, which could be used for demonstrating laws and effects in the field of Physics. Unlike real experiments, the simulations with PhenoSim3D could be done in a time convenient for the user; in addition, the greater data precision makes the phenomena analysis understandable, and due to the lack of external factors PhenoSim3D allows for repetition of the experiments without changes in the results. The application is suitable for use in class, during self-preparation and is accessible to students with special educational needs.

Taxoblast is a pipeline to identify contamination in genomic sequence
Raw genomic sequences are frequently contaminated with sequences of other organism. Their identification is essential for the interpretation of genomic data. In this context it is essential to distinguish between horizontal gene transfers and contamination. The genomic context of sequences can help distinguish the two scenarios. Taxoblast splits genomic scaffolds into sub-sequences of defined length and for each of them determines the closest related taxon. It then summarizes this information for the entire scaffold, taking into account the taxonomic ontology. Scaffolds that exclusively match potential contaminants may be safely removed while sequences matching partially contaminants and partially the target organism may constitute horizontal transfers or assembly artifacts and need to be examined manually.

As creating an unbiased study-specific template with a large number of subjects is highly demanding in computational load, parallelization is implemented in ANTS's script "buildtemplateparallel.sh" for SGE, PBS and Apple XGrid, but not for Condor yet. This modification enables running buildtemplateparallel.sh from ANTS-1.9.v4 on HTCondor (http://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/) environment.
