Analyze the network carateristics like Delay, Jitter, Packet loss etc.
This software is a very simple network analyzer. When you click the start button, it will send a configurable stream of UDP packets to a host. (The receiving host is then required to echo all the packets back to the sender, which can be easily done via iptables rule under linux). Once the eched packets arrives back to the sender, the analyzer will calculate all the related statistics like, packet loss, jitter throughput etc... NOTE: in order to receive the echo packets you must configure the receiving host to echo the incoming packets. In the next release i will provide another java application that just echo on an UDP port.

A Tool for Control Structure Selection in Interconnected Processes
ProMoVis is a software environment which can visualize a process system and analyze this interconnected system using the control structure selection methods. The tool s implemented as either a standalone software for industrial use or as a research version which can run within Matlab, both released under the Apache Open Source license. ProMoVis is not limited to the control structure selection problem as additional analysis methods can be added easily. For the re-use of existing models a Modelica interface is under development. If you want to refer to ProMoVis in a publication, please use the following: "Wolfgang Birk, Miguel Castaño, Andreas Johansson, An application software for visualization and control configuration selection of interconnected processes, Control Engineering Practice, Volume 26, May 2014, Pages 188-200."
Geoelectrical data inversion using Neuro Fuzzy technique
Geoelectrical resistivity data is used for estimating the subsurface features of earth. It is very difficult to estimate the depth and true resistivity analytically, therefore many mathematical models approximates the result. The approximation relies on many parameters as the heterogenous model of earth is difficult to map. Conventional interpretation algorithm mostly uses the forward modelling technique which is limited for different lithologies. Here we presented ResinvANFIS v1.0 software platform to invert any type (A, Q, K, H or any mixed data types) of resistivity data having AB/2 and apparent resistivity data as input. This kind of generalised platform has not been done elsewhere to invert data directly.
