Fast Artificial Neural Network Library is a free open source neural network library, which implements multilayer artificial neural networks in C with support for both fully connected and sparsely connected networks. Cross-platform execution in both fixed and floating point are supported. It includes a framework for easy handling of training data sets. It is easy to use, versatile, well documented, and fast. Bindings to more than 15 programming languages are available. An easy to read introduction article and a reference manual accompanies the library with examples and recommendations on how to use the library. Several graphical user interfaces are also available for the library.
gputils is a collection of tools for Microchip PIC microcontrollers. Its goal is to be fully compatible with Microchip's tools, MPASM, MPLINK, and MPLIB.
MARF is a general cross-platform framework with a collection of algorithms for audio (voice, speech, and sound) and natural language text analysis and recognition along with sample applications (identification, NLP, etc.) of its use, implemented in Java.
This project has come to an end. If you want, you can download the sources and continue from there. The repository will be wiped clean by the end of 2017.
Parse and decode METAR, TAF, SYNOP, BUOY, AMDAR and write data as XML
metaf2xml can download, parse and decode aviation routine weather reports (METAR, SPECI, SAO), aerodrome forecasts (TAF), synoptic observations (SYNOP), observations from buoys (BUOY) and meteorological reports from aircrafts (AMDAR). Data can also be taken from decoded BUFR messages. The extracted data can be written as XML or passed to a user-defined function (all done in Perl). It also provides XSLT style sheets to convert the XML to plain language (text, HTML), or XML with different schemas. A web-based (CGI) user interface can be used to download and display up-to-date weather data from NOAA, Ogimet, and other sources.
When planning heterologous expression of a gene, it is necessary to assess the number of rare codons that can be encountered in the gene. This program helps you find out.
Extract and reformat a sequence database search or multiple alignment
NOTE: The MView repository and web pages have moved to: https://github.com/desmid/mview https://desmid.github.io/mview/ Release tarballs will continue to be uploaded to SourceForge. ---- MView is a command line utility that extracts and reformats the results of a sequence database search or a multiple alignment, optionally adding HTML markup for web page layout. It can also be used as a filter to extract and convert searches or alignments to common formats. Inputs: - Sequence database search: BLAST, FASTA suites. - Multiple sequence alignment: CLUSTAL, HSSP, MSF, FASTA, PIR, MAF. Outputs: - HTML, FASTA, CLUSTAL, MSF, PIR, RDB (tab-separated). HaploPainter - a pedigree and haplotypes drawing tool written in Perl/Tk. The software processes pedigree information in standard linkage formats combining haplotype information outputs from Simwalk, Genehunter, Allegro and Merlin.
PHPXref is a developers tool, written in Perl, that will cross reference and extract inline documentation from a collection of PHP scripts. It generates simple HTML output suitable for browsing offline.
Plasmodium Typing Utility Software
The goal of PlaTypUS is to establish a unified Plasmodium whole genome analysis tool, that aligns short read sequences in an agreed upon manner, with many quality control steps, and calls both SNVs and CNVs in a community agreed standard way. We also seek to provide this analysis in a stand-alone graphic user interface so that labs around the world can analyze their own whole genome sequencing data, rather than relying on outside institutes.
A graphical microcode simulator with a reconfigurable datapath.
STATPerl (Statistics with Perl) is a free Statistical Software based on Perl. Perl source codes for various statistical analysis are given with it. User can add new analysis and edit existing one. An inbuilt Perl IDE comes with it.
WWW::BookBot is a perl bot framework to fetch web e-texts with catalog, books and chapters.
Provides a GPL'd test suite for verification of the verilog language. This project is affiliated with the Icarus Verilog compiler effort at icarus.com, and test reports are collected from that project.
