Parsing Korean words by morpheme and part-of-speech
RHINO parses Korean words by morpheme and part-of-speech. Its dictionaries are based on Korean Modern Tagged Corpus(12 million phrases scale) which was made by Korean government. So it analyses many cases of stems and endings. And the newly developed Dynamic Dictionary Technology can make words to react with their context. That is, a programmed database. The Boolean Expression Reducer provides the user with various tools to visualize and analyze boolean expressions. Given an expression, it also reduces it to its Sum of Products and Product of Sums form.
A Calculator to perform logical operations
The Logic Calculator is an application useful to perform logical operations. It has three modes: (1) Evaluation of logic formulae: In this mode we have the basic boolean operations (negation, conjunction, disjunction, conditional and biconditional) so the user can insert the logic formula and the Logic Calculator displays the truth table along with the models of the formula. (2) Logical entailment: In this mode the user can insert a number of premises followed by a number of conclusions, so the Logic Calculator displays the truth table of each premise / conclusion and the result of whether or not these premises logically entail the given conclusions. (3) Conversion of a formula to Disjunctive Normal Form (DNF) and Conjunctive Normal Form (CNF): In this mode the user inserts a logic formula and the Logic Calculator outputs its representation in both a DNF and CNF.
Virtual Radiation Detection and Measurement Laboratory Software
Radiation detection and measurement education is necessary for a wide variety of people working with radiation. The equipment and laboratory setup needed for delivering this education are expensive and difficult to assemble due to the large variety of the type of experiments that are desirable to cover. For a basic education one needs to have gamma, beta, alpha and neutron sources, at least one detector to detect each type of radiation and other supplemental instrumentation to perform experiments. Although the radiation exposure due to these radioactive sources in an education laboratory is low, shielding and a private secured place is needed. Nearly two hundred thousand dollars is needed to construct such a basic laboratory described as above. In order to overcome these difficulties, a model of a basic Radiation Detection Laboratory has been created to provide a virtual environment for designing and simulating such experiments.
