Project moved to https://github.com/owfs/owfs/
Please note that OWFS source code, and all Issue/Tickets/merge requests have now been moved to https://github.com/owfs/owfs/. Developer mailing lists will still be kept at Sourceforge. ---- OWFS -- 1-Wire file system. Use the Dallas 1-Wire and iButton chips with standard filesystem commands. Create temperature loggers. Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Basically you can use these inexpensive little sensors and other chips with very simple wiring to sense and control the physical environment. The interface is very flexible -- everything from a web browser, to read and writing directly to the chip's "file" to integrating with your programs -- even over the internet. There is a growing number of 1-wire sensors: temperature, voltage, humidity, light, ultraviolet, pressure, thermisters, thermocouples, programmable microcontrollers, relays, lights, LCD panels, etc
Modular, touch screen friendly navigation system with GPS tracking, realtime routing engine and support for various vector map formats. Works on a wide range of devices, from computers to smartphones.

Pinguino packages
Pinguino is an electronics prototyping platform. It supports different 8- and 32-bit ©Microchip microcontrollers, all with built-in USB module. Pinguino comes with a USB Bootloader, a small program running inside the microcontroller which is responsible for transferring your application from your PC to the microcontroller memory and handing over the control to this program afterwards. No programmer is then needed, only a USB cable and a PC. Pinguino is also an Integrated Development Environement (IDE) which gives everyone the ability to write, compile and upload programs on a Pinguino board.

usbpicprog is a Microchip PIC programmer with simple hardware: one PIC18F2550 and some components. It's therefore easy and cheap to build. Usbpicprog consists of 3 components: Hardware, Embedded software and a stand-alone program for Win, Mac and Linux.
Scientific/engineering firmware repurposing HP business calculators!
This project has created scientific firmware for the HP-20b and HP-30b business calculators. The WP 34S turns either of these calculators into a powerful keystroke programmable scientific device. According to our customers, it's the most powerful and fastest RPN scientific pocket calculator ever built. The WP 34S is alive and stable since 2011. We have succeeded in satisfying the most picky users - read about their experiences on http://www.hpmuseum.org/forum/forum-8.html. Find the Owner's Manual v3.2 at https://www.createspace.com/4106229 In 2014, we've updated the WP 34S to version 3.3. Our customers confirm its documentation is excellent and comprehensive (see feedback); an updated printed edition is available from https://www.createspace.com/6329314 since June 2016. We have also produced the WP 31S which is derived from the WP 34S source code. This is an entry-level scientific calculator. Its printed manual is available from https://www.createspace.com/4773370
Command-line operators for netCDF and HDF files
The netCDF Operators, or NCO, are a suite of file operators which facilitate manipulation and analysis of self-describing data stored in the (freely available) netCDF and HDF formats. Volunteers welcome! See homepage for details and download links.
GHDL - a VHDL simulator
GHDL is the leading open source VHDL simulator. *** Now on github.com/tgingold/ghdl *** We have binary distributions for Debian Linux, Mac OSX and Windows. On other systems, getting GHDL from here means downloading the current source package and building GHDL from source. Alternatively you can get the latest source version (warning : occasionally unstable!) by pulling a snapshot from the git repository.
Project Apollo - NASSP (also known as NASSP or NCPP) is an add-on for the Orbiter space flight simulator. Project Apollo simulates the Apollo missions to Earth orbit and the Moon and the planned post-Apollo missions that never flew.
C++/C library to construct Excel .xls files in code.
A multiplatform C++ library for dynamic generation of Excel .xls files containing multiple worksheets. Unlike .csv files, these can be directly opened by Excel and thus provide an excellent way to output large data sets that require further analysis. To see the latest changes, select "Files" and view the README text displayed at the bottom of that pane. IMPORTANT: Major changes are contained in the current SVN source. If you have time please try to use it or the xlslib-package-2.4.0b1.zip archive, and enter bug reports on any problems! Changes: - library specific strings now in their own namespace - iOS Objective-C library - most project files updated (MSVS etc) - C bridge now supports formulas Note: there is a related SF project, libxls, to read Excel files.
