VMLAB User Components for AVR peripherals and external components
This is the source code repository for my VMLAB User Components. The Project Website contains detailed descriptions of each component. You can also Download Components as pre-compiled DLL files from this site. The "AVR Peripheral" components should be installed to the "mculib" directory; all other components are installed in the "userlib" directory. A few components include a "readme.txt" with additional setup instructions. Most components are licensed under the LGPLv2 (or higher). A few of the older components are released into the Public Domain.
a dbms for neural nets. Chatbots, DTrees, random forests, n-grams,...
This project consists out of a windows based designer application and a library (that can run on multiple platforms, including android) together with several demo applications (including an MVC3 chatbot client and an android application). It is probably best compared to a database management system, but for neural networks instead of relational data. As such, the library is optimized for handling any type of data-size by using advanced streaming and caching algorithms. With the designer, you are able to create different types of decision trees, random forests, n-grams, pattern-matchers, conversational agents and all sorts of AI related algorithms. You can combine statistical approaches as well as pattern matchers or others. Do natural language processing, image or data analysis & interpretation,...
EXTREMA is an interactive program with publication quality graphics and mathematical analysis capabilities. EXTREMA can be GUI and/or command driven. The command language includes conditional branching, looping and subroutine calling constructs.
A chatbot for "Artificial Intelligence" course at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
ASCOM driver for the LittleFoot Elegance Photo (LFEP) telescope controller. Firmware 6.x is fully supported - firmware 5.x is partially supported (all LFEP features are available but configuration is only possible by handbox). Contains drivers for telescope, focuser, camera, filter wheel, roof controller and dew heater which shares a single connection to the controller.
A particle simulation visualization program
ParticleVis is a visualization tool specialized for loading and exploring particulate simulation data. It contains a set of features that enables powerful and useful visualizations of particle simulations to be quickly generated. Support is provided for visualization of hundreds of thousands of particles on commodity workstations, using OpenGL. Functionality includes data exploration, debugging of simulation output, and generation of presentation-quality imagery. The ability to visualize vector flow information in a variety of forms, such as arrow-lines, inscribed glyphs, and motion blurred particles, is particularly useful in the study of granular flows. User-generated information can be integrated into the visualization using features such as per-particle color maps and surface maps, per-region vector fields, and volumetric data.
A TCL/TK frontend for the openCONFIGURATOR configuration tool
openCONFIGURATOR TCL/TK GUI is an open-source configuration tool for easy setup, configuration and maintenance of any POWERLINK network. It ideally complements openPOWERLINK, the open source POWERLINK protocol stack for master and slave. THIS APPLICATION IS NO LONGER SUPPORTED. PLEASE INSTALL THE ECLIPSE PLUGIN BASED OPENCONFIGURATOR.
Autorun enabler for VBA macro in Inventor 2014 projects
This plugin enables some unsupported functionalities for Autodesk Inventor 2014. Autodesk doesn't support Autorun macro for VBA projects anymore, but with this plugin it is still possible to use the commands "AutoOpen", "AutoEdit", "AutoSave", "AutoClose" and "AutoNew" subroutines stored within "ThisDocument" module.

Pear3DEngine is a modern and modular 3D development framework
Pear3DEngine is a modern and modular 3D development framework that lets you create professional games, simulations and more. You are free to develop your program in C + +, XML or LUA and publish it as open source software or selling it as a commercial program. The rendering engine uses internally OpenGL or DirectX optionally. The planned editor supports software development on Linux, Windows and maybe MacOS X. DirectX 9 and therefore Windows XP are currently not supported and support is not planned in the future. One goal of the Pear3DEngine Framework is to use the latest and most promising algorithms and techniques from the 3D and IT scene.
A graph presentation and manipulation tool for the "CPM construction" quantum graphical calculus.
Temperature measurement of four DS75 sensors (I2C)
This program communicates with Dallas DS75 four sensors for temperature measurement through I2C bus. Need a USB to I2C and 4 sensors DS75 (see diagram in program help) Capture data at certain intervals, export data to excel and txt. features: - Automatic detection port. - Captures up to one month's time preconfigured intervals. - Export data capture to excel and csv (txt). - Has configurable alarms. - Allows temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit. - Graphic Displays of the four sensors. - Supports multiple languages.

A simulator for self-organizing video replication and more
Multimedia consumption at social events - if available - can be considered as a complex problem. People use their smart phones and tablets to take pictures and videos, leading to a high number of production places. If we enable those visitors to share their content at the event, new challenges emerge. Visitors move, go online and offline, and build a dynamic network. One can say a complex adaptive network emerges, with all its problems. We tackle these problems by introducing a bio-inspired algorithm, which lets the content place itself where it is needed. It is robust, scalable and adaptive. The transport path of content is exploited to replicate content and limited storage space is handled by clean-up mechanisms. We implemented a simulator to show the algorithm's performance and to test its behavior under real circumstances. It is easily extendable to support several new scenarios or changes to the algorithm (see replication and client models).
Converts xbits to xbytes, and back again if needed.
xbit2xbyte and xbyte2xbit are designed as sample programs for programmers new to C# as well as a learning tool for the author. These two programs also fulfilled a genuine need to convert to xbits (megabit usually) to xbytes (megabytes, again usually) when dealing with things such as cartridge sizes ,which are generally expressed in megabits, and something the author frequently encountered. Thus, xbit can be used to convert whatever bit (mega, giga, etc.) to whatever byte (again, mega, giga, etc.), and the sister program can be used to convert the opposite way.
stereo 3D wireframe projection of 4D objects. rotations about the 6 planes of various 4D(R4) objects in Java. uses documented file format for the 4D objects. supports alternating lcd shutter 3D glasses and the red-blue 3D glasses. no 3d monitors yet. the binaries and source have been taken off of this site. if you wish to contact me regarding this project, do. it is a joint project between 2 people (left). project is unchanged as of July 2007. got hypot() wrong and have correction, but looking for Jack to contact me about this project.
