A framework for implementing real-time control systems
A framework for the implementation of advanced real-time control systems which uses signal/block-based schematics (like Simulink) extended by several features like state machines and online-exchangeable sub-simulations. Besides, this framework properly handles multiple threads, their communication, allows to synchronise control systems to external events (e.g. variable timers or incoming network packages) and provides many other nice features. Because of a high-level schematic-description language -- in form of provided Scilab commands -- only a minimal implementation-effort (no error-prone C-programming) is required.

BoofCV is an open source Java library for real-time computer vision.
BoofCV is an open source Java library for real-time computer vision and robotics applications. Written from scratch for ease of use and high performance, it provides both basic and advanced features needed for creating a computer vision system. Functionality include optimized low level image processing routines (e.g. convolution, interpolation, gradient) to high level functionality such as image stabilization. Released under an Apache 2.0 license for both academic and commercial use.
A realtime-schedule generator for educational purposes
RT Schedule is a realtime-schedule generator to create and present simple and idealised RT schedules from task lists. The purpose is to compute the basic properties of a task set and create a schedule using the rate monotonic (RM), earliest deadline first (EDF) and least laxity first (LLF) algorithms. The program uses simple, idealised systems, since students must be able to schedule them manually. RT Schedule computes the data and generates clear graphs for lecture notes and exams.
Robocode is a programming tank game for Java and .NET
Robocode is a programming game, where the goal is to develop a robot battle tank to battle against other tanks in Java or .NET. The robot battles are running in real-time and on-screen. The motto of Robocode is: Build the best, destroy the rest!
Serial Bootloader for Microchip, Atmel, NXP, TI, 8051 microcontrolers
What is it? It's a Bootloader for Microchip, Atmel, NXP, TI and 8051 devices. A Bootloader is a firmware running in the microcontroler device which allows the user to send it's own firmware without the need of a programmer. This Bootloader consists of: - firmwares for many devices (this firmware need to be send to the device's flash memory with a programmer, only once) - a PC software which communicates with the bootloader firmware in the device and send the user's program in its memory Where does it come from? This Bootloader is based on "Tiny PIC Bootloader" made by Claudiu Chiculita. A special THANK to him!!! What can it do? It can program: - Microchip PIC10/12/16/18/24/32/dsPIC30/33 - Atmel ATtiny, ATmega - TI MPS430 - NXP ARM Cortex-M0+ - Silicon Labs C8051 And this: - with light modifications to the Bootloader firmware for new devices - without modifying your source code or using a special linker script - via GUI or command line prog - with automatic Reset
PLEXIL is a plan execution language developed and applied in automation applications at NASA. This software includes an executive (runtime environment) and many related tools. It runs on Unix-based computers.
A software for ATM telescope automation
SoundStepper is a "100% software" telescope controller, for Windows, using audio hardware to control step motors at real time. All it requires to operate are external step motor drives, which can be a commercial "pulse/direction" drive or analog current amplifiers. Documentation: http://soundstepper.sourceforge.net/
Calculation of camshafts - allows to define a camshaft profile on the set trajectory which should provide the given mechanism. The trajectory can be set graphically, co-ordinates or function.

Controls any Robot in Python
Developed on Python to leverage state-of-the-art extensibility and easily integrated plugins Able to use low cost robots with the accuracy and dexterity of much more expensive robots, achieved in part by: a) Ability to drive movement by inexpensive DC gear head motors, including the inherent ability to specify movement by applied force rather than strict space/time control that steppers impose. b) Arms and linkages don't have to have super tight tolerances, because accuracy is achieved by tightly integrated visual feedback that's easy to program and low complexity processing. Ability to program easily with a GUI and visual interface that sees things from the robots' camera perspective. Flexible use of coordinate spaces that make programming arms with 6 or more degrees of freedom super easy. Got a bot arm with 13 linkages that can reach around corners? Easy. Simple arm with only 2 degrees of freedom, with one polar and one cartesian? Any arm geometry works.
open Transportation Control System
openTCS is a platform-independent transportation control system (TCS) intended to manage fleets of automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), but can be used to manage virtually any automatic vehicle. It consists of an abstract kernel that implements replaceable algorithms and strategies (computation of routes, dispatching of orders to vehicles, scheduling of resources etc.), pluggable vehicle drivers that implement communication protocols and a graphical frontend for creating and visualizing logical models of areas the vehicles are moving in.
Library for working with 3D rotations in Matlab/Octave
The Matlab/Octave rotations library is a collection of functions, bundled as m-scripts, that address computations and numerical handling of rotations in 3D Euclidean space. The rotation representations that are supported are rotation matrices (Rotmat), Quaternions (Quat), intrinsic ZYX Euler angles (Euler), fused angles (Fused) and tilt angles (Tilt). Operations such as composition, inversion, ZYX yaw extraction, fused yaw extraction, random generation, equality detection, vector rotation and much more have been implemented for each rotation representation. Tilt vector addition and the relative and absolute tilt phase spaces are also supported. Unit tests for each function are provided to ensure that the library is performant.
