Easy plotting of images pixel by pixel!
Frustrated because you want to output a high-quality image from your C++ program but haven't found an easy, direct and fast way? Try PNGwriter. Written with scientific simulations in mind, PNGwriter allows you to plot to a PNG image pixel by pixel. * * *README* * * This is the last PNGwriter release that will be hosted on SourceForge.net. Please use the following site: https://github.com/pngwriter/pngwriter/releases to find all versions of PNGwriter including and later than 0.5.5. The PNGwriter website is still hosted on SourceForge.net: http://pngwriter.sourceforge.net Thank you! @individual61 @ax3l
This project contains two packages. An Orbital Mechanics Study developing the physics equations related with satellite tracking and a libtool C++ library to encapsulate the satellite tracking calculations (gsat).
A MATLAB toolbox to simulate optical systems
Modal Interferometer Simulation Tool (MIST) is a MATLAB toolbox that can simulate arbitrary resonant optical systems in the paraxial beam approximation. It allows the user to define any optical setup (composed typically of laser sources, mirrors, lenses, electro-optical modulators and detectors) and to compute the static laser field at any point. It uses a Hermite-Gauss modal decomposition to simulate diffraction limited optics. This tool is being developed mainly for simulation of large scale interferometers with resonant cavities used for the detection of gravitational waves. Subscribe to the mailing list for updates and news. If you use MIST in your own simulation work, please cite is as G. Vajente, "Fast modal simulation of paraxial optical systems: the MIST open source toolbox" Classical and Quantum Gravity 30, 075014 (2013)
Two dimensional (2D) fine mesh finite element (FE) grid editing system. Includes constrained Delaunay triangulation, and automated grid resolution changes based on local attributes. Win32 and Motif GUIs. Mature application, now going open source.

mCode is designed to be a dynamic 3d platform for simulation and visualization, with a focus on visual networking.
This is a continuation of the OpenGamma project by Marcelo Maduar with his permission. It is for gamma ray (radiation) spectroscopy and isotope identification. It accepts output files from several types of MCA's. Real time input will be added.
Fast integrator of stochastic partial differential equations
XMDS is a code generator that integrates equations. You write them down in human readable form in a XML file, and it goes away and writes and compiles a C++ program that integrates those equations as fast as it can possibly be done in your architecture.
This project delivers Linux support (USB driver and Tools) for a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) cards of the Signal Ranger series, see http://www.softdb.com/product_dsp.shtml for details) connected to a Linux host via USB.

Program to fetch datas from YC-7x7 dataloggers from YCT
We needed a datalogger, we found one. But the supplied VB6 program was very crappy, _really_ unusable, even on old XP machines. So I did mine, able to run under windows and linux. All the fun was to reverse the (binary) RS232 protocol. Our is a YC-727D with 2 thermocouple inputs, but the protocol is the same for 1, 2, 3 or 4 inputs models (YC-717, YC-727, YC-737, YC-747). Bytes orders needs to be checked for 3th and 4nd channels tough.
A simple periodic table of elements viewer using elementary and edje.
The main scope of the program is to take Thermo-Calc or Dictra (both registered trademarks) and transform them into nicely formatted encapsulated postscript diagrams, generated by gnuplot. But exp2plt can also be used as a graphical interface to gnuplot.
