The Parallel Seismic Earth Imaging System (PSEIS) is designed for geophysical research and parallel processing of large datasets. Interoperation and emulation are used to leverage other seismic processing software, existing skills and infrastructure.
A state-of-the-art full-potential linearised augmented-planewave (FP-LAPW) code. Designed to be as developer friendly as possible so that new developments in the field of density functional theory (DFT) can be added quickly and reliably.
PARAMESH is a package of Fortran 90 subroutines designed to provide an application developer with an easy route to extend an existing serial code which uses a logically cartesian structured mesh into a parallel code with adaptive mesh refinement(AMR).
Repository of Marine Biogeochemical Models
This project is a fork of the CERN Program Library is a large collection of general purpose libraries/ This program is oriented to needs of a physics laboratory that is general mathematics, data analysis, detectors simulation, data-handling etc... The project have moved and is alive at http://opencernlib.tuxfamily.org/
Cca-forum unifies the Common Component Architecture tools and tutorial. It includes the CCA specifications, the Ccaffeine framework for HPC, and related tools. These support multilanguage scientific and parallel computing.
Sandia National Laboratories’ (SNL) environmental assessment modeling tool helps optimize the design of MHK-turbine array layouts within ocean, tidal, and river systems to balance energy generation efficiency with environmental considerations. The new tool, SNL-EFDC, is an augmented version of US EPA’s Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code (EFDC) and includes; (1) a new module that simulates energy conversion (momentum withdrawal) by MHK turbine-like devices including commensurate changes in the turbulent kinetic energy and turbulent kinetic energy dissipation rate, (2) new, advanced sediment dynamics routines, and (3) augmented water quality modules. SNL-EFDC has been verified and validated against flume measurements of flow around sub-scale turbines and actuator disks.
Simple Python class for managing tables of data in memory using NumPy. It allows to give names to views of array. The package contains few classes built on top of the basic one to be used as post processing tools for particle optics computations.
A solver for Lancester-Darmy equation. Not working yet.
Please use the MOHID code official site http://mohid.codeplex.com/, Thank you, The MOHID team
Dodona is a molecular dynamics program which aims to treat nanostructures. It is provided with a basic interpretater language and can easily be extended with plugins. It supports basic matrix and vector manipulation in a Matlab/Octave-fashion way.
The aim of project is creating program environment for solving some integral equations, arising at solving mathematical problems of the diffraction theory.
BrennerMD is a public domain Fortran molecular dynamics program by Donald Brenner and other people. This project is to maintain the original source code and to build a Python interface on top of it.
FLENS (Flexible Library for Efficient Numerical Solutions) is a C++ library for scientific computing. It can be considered as a very convenient and --- at the same time --- extremely efficient interface for BLAS and LAPACK. But it is much more than this
The fst2v5d package converts data stored in the Canadian RPN Standard File (FST) format into Vis5D format. FST files, commonly used to store meteorological data, are scanned by fst2v5d to generate both 4D fields and independent topography input files.
This project provides a simple atmospheric model as a Fortran 90 library. The model solves some of the most important processes of the tropical climate system, and is suitable for example for studying ocean/atmopshere interactions.
Fortran tools to write standardized NetCDF output for a variety of ocean circulation models. The files contain required metadata to be compatible with DMACS standards. And a C++ particle trajectory tool reads NetCDF files to make particle paths.
PDFgetN is a program to process total scattering data obtained on neutron time-of-flight powder diffractometers and to obtain the atomic pair distribution function (PDF).
MRCWA - Multilayer Rigorous Coupled Wave Analysis is a fast, flexible optical grating solver. It calculates an exact solution to the Maxwell equations for the diffraction of light from an optical grating with arbitrary profile and materials.
This library is a Fortran 95 gnuplot interface for some Unix like OS'es. This provides some routines that enables direct access of a child gnuplot session from a Fortran 95 program. You will need a copy of fortranposix to make this work.
NOSE is a package for simulation of linear and non-linear optical and infrared spectra, including absorption, fluorescence, circular dichroism, pump-probe, photon echo and other.
fropho calculates phonon properties in crystal, which is based on Parlinski-Li-Kawazoe method. Information of forces acting on atoms when an atom is displaced is required as input information. fropho is going to be replaced by phonopy.sourceforge.net.
The project devoted to develop LADY software. LADY is a abbreviation formed from LAttice DYnamics toolkit. The software is the semi-emperical program which aids to simulate the dynamical property of crystals within a selected potential function.
StormRT is a real-time multi-resolution analysis and compression package for data compression and temporal feature detection over multiple timescales.
IFEFFIT is a library and set of interactive programs for the analysis of x-ray absorption fine-structure (XAFS) data. IFEFFIT combines state-of-the-art analysis algorithms with graphical display of XAFS data, and general data manipulation. It can be
