  • BangiFD

software for direct simulation monte carlo (DSMC) fluid dynamics

BangiFD is a software that can be used to perform direct simulation monte-carlo calculation, one of many fluid dynamics methods used. The source codes for BangiFD are written in Perl5 and utilize Perl Data Language (PDL). This choice was made to use the excellent and fast array manipulation by PDL and readable syntax of Perl so that all modules of the software are short and easy to maintain. This may cost computation time as Perl is an interpreted language.
