Slurm is a replacement for other resource management software and schedulers like gridengine or torque. The slurm roll integrates very well into a rocks clusters installation. In the folder addons, there are a lot of useful rolls for rocks clusters 6.1 and 6.2. These rolls do not depend on slurm. Please see Discussion for further information and support

A digital signal processing (DSP) framework (w/ audio to midi focus)
Ekstasis is currently a rapidly produced prototype version of a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) framework which seeks to provide signal/data processing modules which can be strung together via Boost library interprocess message queues. Tools for creating and destroying the communication queues, loading/saving PCM 44100 Hz to/from the signal processing chain, windowing the data (currently only a Hann windowing function module), performing a Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) on the data (using FFT, currently only real part), detecting the presence of an event within a data segment/packet via normalized spectral signature matching/comparison, and the generation of a midi file from the detection of said patterns (i.e., event occurrences) as output are currently available.

GEPETTO (GEne Prioritization ExTended TOol)
GEPETTO (GEne PrioriTization ExTended TOol) is an original open-source framework, distributed under the LGPL license, for gene selection and prioritization on a desktop computer that ensures confidentiality of personal data. It takes advantage of the data integration capabilities in the SM2PH-Central Framework(KD4v,MSV3d,BIRD,..), combined with in-house developed gene prioritization methods. It currently incorporates six prioritization modules, based on gene sequence, protein-protein interactions, gene expression, disease-causing probabilities, genomic context). GEPETTO is written in Java/Python and supported by an advanced modular architecture, which means that it can easily be modified and extended by the user, in order to include alternative scoring methods and new data sources.
