A canvas library for generating technical drawings
The ADG library (Automatic Drawing Generation) is a set of functions focused on automating the drawing of mechanical parts. It is not a CAD system but a GObject-based library where a custom application can put common CAD entities such as paths, hatches and dimensions, to automatically create technical drawings. A demo application is provided in order to show the capabilities of the canvas. Although it is possible to interact with the library directly in C (that is what the adg-demo program is doing), the canvas is expected to be used from higher level languages, much in the same way as what done in the GNOME stack. Lua bindings based on LGI are already provided out of the box. The adg-lua project, downloadable from the "Files" section, provides Lua programs and demos that leverages these bindings.

Allows inclusion of Gesture Interaction via WiiMote in Web-Apps
WiiGesture is a library to add gestural interaction in web-applications that are based on Adobe Flash/Flex/Air. Therefore it uses the WiiFlash service (http://wiiflash.bytearray.org/?page_id=50) to retrieve the sensor data and an internal algorithm based on template matching recognizes performed gestures in real-time. For easier gesture training, a so called WiiGesture-Learning desktop tool was developed that automatically generates gesture templates by performing gestures with at least one repetition. The result is an XML file that can be exported and included in the WiiGesture-API so that trained gestures are known to the API. For research purposes also an analysis tool was developed to compare gestures from different participants/users. We used it to identify intuitive gestures from users for certain commands. The entire work was part of my diploma thesis I wrote in 2008 at Fraunhofer IGD. The gesture recognition API was included in a number of example scenarios.

Uranie is a sensitivity and uncertainty analysis plateform based on the ROOT framework (http://root.cern.ch) . It is developed at CEA, the French Atomic Energy Commission (http://www.cea.fr). It provides various tools for: - data analysis - sampling - statistical modeling - optimisation - sensitivity analysis - uncertainty analysis - running code on high performance computers - etc. Thanks to ROOT, it is easily scriptable in CINT (c++ like syntax) and Python. Is is available both for Unix and Windows platforms (a dedicated platform archive is available on request). Note : if you have downloaded version 3.12 before the 8th of february, a patch exists for a minor bug on TOutputFileKey file, don't hesitate to ask us.

The interface now includes LabVIEW error handling and buffer handling code along with examples of how to operate the cameras from a dataflow environment.
Matlab interface to the Open Dynamics Engine (ODE)
MatODE is a simple Matlab toolbox for interfacing to the Open Dynamics Engine rigid body physics simulator (ODE, by Russell Smith), created by the Delft Biorobotics Lab (Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands). The system to be simulated is defined in an XML file, while the joint positions and motor signals can be sensed and actuated from a Matlab script. Examples are provided. Starting at version 0.30, MatODE is only available for Windows and Linux 64-bit. For older 32-bit versions, select "Browse all files".

astroDevice is a software platform for the control of astronomical instruments (telescope mount, filter wheel, focuser and CCD) through a single interface. This platform manages any astronomical device through plug-ins. It can manage multiple devices of same type (eg two telescope mounts). astroDevice is an alternative to ASCOM and INDI by providing a common interface between each device type and astronomy software such as Starry Night, KStars, Skychart and Stellarium. The platform is based on a client-server architecture to provide the ability to control the astronomical devices remotely.
Analysis of pyrograms form multiplex pyrosequencing experiments
A software for the classification of organisms based on results from multiplex pyrosequencing algorithms performed on the Pyro-Mark ID System (Qiagen). The assays can be designed using the software mpsqed available from https://sourceforge.net/projects/mpsqed/ Pyrosequencing can be applied for Single-Nucleotide-Polymorphism (SNP)-based pathogen typing or for providing sequence information of short DNA stretches. However, for some pathogens molecular typing cannot be performed relying on a single SNP or short sequence stretch, necessitating the consideration of several genomic regions. A promising rapid approach is the simultaneous application of multiple sequencing primers, called multiplex pyrosequencing. These primers generate a fingerprint-pyrogram which is constituted by the sum of all individual pyrograms originating from each primer used. MultiPSQ allows the analysis and classification of multiplex-pyrograms originating from various pyrosequencing primers.

Here is a simple program to create footprints for open source EDA kicad. The idea is to describe footprint in .csv format and convert .csv to kicad footprint format. At preset program supports Kicad only, but can be extented to support other formats.
