GPUmat is a C/C++ GPU engine for Matlab based on NVIDIA CUDA.
Please download Windows and Linux version by clicking on "Browse All Files". GPUmat allows standard MATLAB code to run on GPUs. The engine is written in C/C++ and based on NVIDIA CUDA. Please contact email@example.com for any questions. Unfortunately GPUmat was compiled for CUDA 5.0 and we basically stopped any support for other CUDA version because we don't have the resources to do it. But you can compile the source code if you want. Instructions to compile the source code: You need to download a SVN client and then from command line: svn export http://svn.code.sf.net/p/gpumat/code/trunk ./GPUmat the above command creates a folder ./GPUmat with the source code. Then go to the 'doc' folder, open the GPUmat_Developer_Guide.pdf and check the chapter "Source code compilation"

A functional maths program calculating with functions
FunctionalCalculator is a Mathematical program, which calculates with functions and which is designed to be functional in the sense of convenience and usability. The goal is a neat tool covering mathematics at advanced high school and university level. FunctionalCalculator has 75 User-Functions and logical / comparison operators. The User-Functions can have arguments given by matrices, infinitely differentiable functions, complex numbers or arbitrary precision integers. Among the User-Functions you find: * The integral of f(x) from a to b * The derivative of f(x) * The Ternary Conditional * The gcd of two integers * Solve a System of Linear Equations FunctionalCalculator has a Grammar, which allows you to define you own recursive (meta) functions. Moreover it has a functional and procedural scripting language based on this grammar. FunctionalCalculator has a plotter for complex functions and for real functions.
This program gets data from a GPS, parses it, and calculate things such as acceleration and distance traveled. That is then saved it to a CSV file. Also shows data in real time and has a speedometer to show your speed in real time (in KM/h or MPH).
GSA-SNP is a gene set analysis software that can process SNP data as well as gene and haplotype data.
A tool for 3D genome and chromosome structural model construction
Gen3D is an application designed to determine three-dimensional genome and chromosome models. It uses chromosomal contact data to construct three-dimensional conformations. This method can generate three-dimensional chromosomal models satisfying a large portion of chromosomal contacts. The software is developed in Prof. Jianlin Cheng's Bioinformatics, Data Mining and Machine Learning Laboratory in the Computer Science Department at the University of Missouri - Columbia, USA. The project is supported by the National Science Foundation (grant no. DBI1149224). If you use Gen3D in your research, please cite: Nowotny, Jackson, Sharif Ahmed, Lingfei Xu, Oluwatosin Oluwadare, Hannah Chen, Noelan Hensley, Tuan Trieu, Renzhi Cao, and Jianlin Cheng. Supernova search tool
Starblinker allows to easily search for new stars in your astronomical photos. The new star could be: 1) An already known or a new unknown asteroid; 2) An already known or a new unknown comet; 3) An already known or a new unknown galactic nova; 4) If it is superimposed to an external galaxy, an already known or a new unknown supernova; Before reporting a potential new discovery, please make all necessary checks to be sure it is not an already known object or a defect in your image.

A powerful, versatile tool for offilne spike analysis and sorting
WaveSorter emphasizes dynamic visualization and versatility. Slider controls let the user select any coefficient or sample from any of several transforms, which can then be plotted to either axis of a 2D histogram (scatterplot). Within the waveform space, cursor-based controls let the user select subregions of the waveform space or individual waveforms to view. The user may cluster waveforms manually or via one of several popular clustering programs. The classification along with waveform properties (width, etc.) can be saved to disk in simple text files. WaveSorter is written in C++, utilizes the GNU Scientific Library for all computation, and is highly parallelized; on modern hardware it can handle files containing several 100,000s of waveforms per channel with almost no noticeable loss in GUI fluidity and <1sec lags for files with >1,000,000 waveforms per channel. It can be run in batch mode. It supports a wide array of binary file formats as well as ASCII text.
