ARO helps physically disabled students to create mathematical drawings
ARO has been developed to assist physically disabled or injured students who cannot create mathematical drawings on paper. It is intended to make maths up to Key Stage 4 more accessible. AQA has agreed to its use in a GCSE maths exam. Anyone who can use a computer with a mouse to access the internet should be able to use ARO. The processes required mimic those of on paper drawing as far as possible. Possible applications include: Graphs of straight lines and smooth curves Compass and ruler constructions Scatter graphs Stem and leaf displays Box plots Histograms Pie charts Simple diagrams. The structure of each drawing is built from individual components which can be placed on the drawing grid without great accuracy. Each can then be positioned exactly using onscreen buttons. The ruler and the protractor can be aligned with any straight line. Drawings can be created on imported background bitmaps. The author was a mathematics lecturer at Plymouth University.

Food Reconstruction Using Isotopic Transferred Signals
Description IMPORTANT NOTICE: The release of FRUITS (version 2.1.1) has now been made available. This will be kept as a beta version during the coming months. Feedback on bugs or suggested additions are appreciated. FRUITS is a Bayesian mixing model for diet reconstruction using isotopic data.
Calculate your and your spouse's life expectancy !
Using statistical modelling against raw data obtained from a USA Annuity mortality table, the Fantastic Life Expectancy Calculator allows users to input a number of parameters to determine their life expectancy. This calculator is provided free and for entertainment purposes only. It does not claim to accurately predict life expectancy for a specific individual or a specific couple.

IterInt is a numerical integration package that implements iterated numerical integration methods. Iterated methods can be used to compute low dimensional (less than ten, for example) integration problems to get very accurate results.
Kaplan-Meier for Windows
KMWin (Kaplan-Meier for Windows) is a convenient tool for graphical presentation of results from Kaplan-Meier survival time analysis. The programme is based on the statistical software environment R and provides an easy to use graphical interface. As an introduction, see http://dx.plos.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0038960#s2.
A lqfb delegation analyser. A 3d directed weighted multi graph.
A rich client to analyse data from a liquid-feedback (http://liquidfeedback.org/) instance, for now it's a 3d graph explorer to inspect the delegations. It's an application based on the eclipse platform (indigo). To be precise its a directed weighted multi graph browser in 3d. Plot Excel data as photo-realistic 3D LEGO® models
Using a sequence of Open Source CAD/CAM and graphics tools, integrated through Excel macro code, "Lego Charts" extends the idea of the Excel 3-D bar chart. It allows the placement, shapes and colours of the bars to represent further dimensions to the data. The chart is presented as a photo-realistic model apparently constructed out of LEGO® bricks. The downloaded package consists of an Excel template to create the charts, an extensive installation and user guide, and two fully-worked samples. Creating eye-catching Lego Charts is easy, fun, and rewarding! Platform: Windows 32 bit (XP onwards) with Microsoft Excel 2003 or later. For more information about Lego Charts, and how to install the package, please see the file README.txt on the the FIles page. --- LEGO® and the LEGO logo are registered trademarks of The Lego Group, which does not sponsor, endorse, or authorize this software package or web page.
Math.NET aims to provide a self contained clean framework for symbolic mathematical (Computer Algebra System) and numerical/scientific computations, including a parser and support for linear algebra, complex differential analysis, system solving and more
A windows Warhammer fantasy battles calculator. Calculates the probability that unit X breaks unit Y. Has the ability to calculate more than one round, e.g. calculate the probability that unit X breaks unit Y in round 2.
MonteCarlito 1.10 is a free, open-source Excel add in to do Monte-Carlo-simulations. It includes an introductory tutorial on Monte Carlo basics. It is licensed under GNU.
Next - is the qualifier of objects. This program is intended for classification of objects on the basis of the reference data, and also construction of resultant tables and diagrams. It urged to simplify a choice question in many aspects of life thanks to dynamism and high degree of adaptation under a task in view.

FDA's f2 computation with bootstrap technique
This program was developed as a help in establishing pharmaceutical equivalence by use of FDA f2 coefficient. It was designed to help with f2 computation in cases when intra- and inter-batch variability is large, namely RSD>10%. The use of statistical bootstrap technique allows to implement confidence interval (CI) into the f2 coefficients resulting in overcoming of their major drawback in the original metrics. The algorithm provides possible “worst case scenario” of f2 values, thus supporting claim about pharmaceutical equivalence. The target users are researchers from industry and academia dealing with pharmaceutical equivalence problem. The software is Open Source. It was developed in Lazarus environment, therefore source code is available in ObjectPascal.
Plots Binomial and Poisson distributions based on different values of p and n to visually express, how much those distributions are "close"
RIPE (Regulatory network Inference from joint Perturbation and Expression data) is a novel three-step method that integrates both perturbation data and steady state gene expression data in order to estimate a regulatory network. The ripe package is written in R, with additional functionality provided by a MATLAB executable file. The executable file uses a runtime engine called the MATLAB Compiler Runtime (MCR). The executable for different architectures is distributed on this site together with the R package itself.
