Read the scientific background at the Textométrie project web site http://textometrie.ens-lyon.fr/?lang=en. Read a full description at the TEI Tools wiki http://wiki.tei-c.org/index.php/TXM.
Machine Learning Python
mlpy is a Python module for Machine Learning built on top of NumPy/SciPy and of GSL. mlpy provides high-level functions and classes allowing, with few lines of code, the design of rich workflows for classification, regression, clustering and feature selection. mlpy is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 3. mlpy is available both for Python >=2.6 and Python 3.X.
Uranie is CEA's uncertainty analysis platform, based on ROOT
Uranie is a sensitivity and uncertainty analysis plateform based on the ROOT framework (http://root.cern.ch) . It is developed at CEA, the French Atomic Energy Commission (http://www.cea.fr). It provides various tools for: - data analysis - sampling - statistical modeling - optimisation - sensitivity analysis - uncertainty analysis - running code on high performance computers - etc. Thanks to ROOT, it is easily scriptable in CINT (c++ like syntax) and Python. Is is available both for Unix and Windows platforms (a dedicated platform archive is available on request). Note : if you have downloaded version 3.12 before the 8th of february, a patch exists for a minor bug on TOutputFileKey file, don't hesitate to ask us.
Powerful Calculus Environment and Matrices Handling Engine
mathSuite is a very powerful Mathematical Suite which deals principally with complex algebric and geometric operations. It is powered by the fabulous ExprEval C Parser. The main purpose of this project is fast math-oriented algorithm virtualization, with an optimized direct text interface. Also it gives you a very powerful and fast Calculus Environment which let you handle easily interchangeable variable lists, matrices, LOGS and Settings Layouts with optimized Items Lists Managing Engine. You'll also be able to execute your own scriptfiles with a basic math-oriented beta script language. Some feature regarding Matrices and Linear Algebra Operations are LU-Factorization, SVD Decomposition, Rank Calculator, Ill Condition Checking and more... There are also a very powerful Linear System Solver and Basic PRELoaded Functions Integrator Engine.
Soccer tournament predictions & simulations
Unique football (soccer) World Cup, European Cup and league (e.g. Bundesliga) simulation - based on Elo coefficient method, it calculates probabilities for Championship, Final, Quarter-Final, etc - additional features: single-play prediction, Elo number calculator, odd quota estimation Impress your friends with soccer expertise - just download, install & run!
Library for optimization using a genetic algorithm or particle swarms
libfgen is a library that implements an efficient and customizable genetic algorithm (GA). It also provides particle swarm optimization (PSO) functionality and an interface for real-valued function minimization or model fitting. It is written in C, but can also be compiled with a C++ compiler. Both Linux and Windows are supported.
Linear Programming (LP) has been used in the case of the Federalist Papers whose authorship had been disputed. The task here will be to use the Cell Broadband Engine to do likewise with papers whose authorship is disputed.
Ox DySco Package
Allows users to estimate and evaluate Dynamic Score and log-ACD models in OxMetrics. Easily accessible, fully interface driven software
C programmed text-based software. Inputs : -Name of a course -Number of students -The 100% value of a mark -All the marks Then it estimates the Standard Deviation and grades, then assigns the marks to the grades inside a text.
Learning Stochastic Discrete Event Systems
Stochastic discrete event system analysis and verification are essential in order to ensure reliability in such systems. However, models that cannot be constructed with an hand-made process need to be learned. Thus, the SDES toolbox proposes an automated solution that is embedded in Matlab to learning and analisis generalized semi-Markov processes.
Software for data analysis, image processing, simulations, solver.
Collection of utilities based on two basics classes: Matematica and VarData. Matematica) performs math operations on vectors and matrices for smoothing, interpolation, convolution, image processing... VarData) manipulate a structure of points connected by links. Addraw) openGL engine. ElPoly) analyze mechanical properties of polymer and membrane like structures. Addyn) perform molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo simulations and has a solver for 4th oder PDE. Avvis) perform all the operation of Matematica on different sets of data visualized on a Qt graphical interface. DrImage) image manipulation on the Matematica filters. The program is intended to use as less as possible external libs (optional: openGL, gsl, fftw, cgal, png, tiff, boost, MPI, Qt...).
R package for hierarchical species distribution models
hSDM is an R package for hierarchical species distribution models. Such models allows interpreting the observations (occurrence and abundance of a species) as a result of several hierarchical processes including ecological processes (habitat suitability, spatial dependence and anthropogenic disturbance) and observation processes (species detectability). Hierarchical species distribution models are essential for accurately characterizing the environmental response of species, predicting their probability of occurrence, and assessing uncertainty in the model results.
Leave-k-out-Jackknife Pearson correlation
In general, Pearson correlation coefficients can be quite error-prone to outliers, thus Jackknifing may be helpful. I could not find any useful implementation for calculating more than leave-1-out Jackknife Pearson correlation coefficients. 'leave-kojack' offers an implementation for Jackknife Pearson correlation with dynamic values of k, i.e. leave-k-out Pearson correlation.
mathSuite Speed & Matrix Stream Processor
This program is fundamentally a short-sized version of my mathSuite program: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mathsuite/ It includes all the functionalities of MSCenv (mathSuite Calculus Environment), such as inline variables and functions (mainly thanks to ExprEval), which you can use to perform expensive complex computations and store their results into runtime variables. You can perform also every Linear Algebra Operations included in mathSuite with new optimizations.
