GPS track editor for editing tracks and planning (multiple) day tours
JGPSTrackEdit is a tool for editing gps tracks and planning (multiple days) tours (GPS track editor). An abritary number of tracks may be opened or created, tracks may be merged. A track may be splitted, reversed or edited (e.g. compressed and corrected). Points may be inserted or appended to a track (routing supported) or may be moved or deleted from a track. Maps of several providers are available, the default map is OpenStreetMap. Currently supported track formats: garmin route, gpx and txc, kml, import from www.gpsies.com. JGPSTrackEdit my also be used to download tile images for later offline use by smartphone apps. JGPSTrackEdit is written in the java language. This project hosts various plugins for the OpenCPN chart plotter, which are not bundled with the core package. OpenCPN is a free software (GPLv2) project to create a concise chart plotter and navigation software, for use underway or as a planning tool. OpenCPN is developed by a team of active sailors using real world conditions for program testing and refinement.
OTB is an open-source C++ library for remote sensing images processing
The Orfeo Toolbox is a C++ library for high resolution remote sensing image processing. It is developped by CNES in the frame of the ORFEO program. More information is available at www.orfeo-toolbox.org It is based on the medical image processing library ITK and offers particular functionalities for remote sensing image processing in general and for high spatial resolution images in particular. Targeted algorithms for high resolution optical images (SPOT, Quickbird, Worldview, Landsat, Ikonos), hyperspectral sensors (Hyperion) or SAR (TerraSarX, ERS, Palsar) are available. Orfeo ToolBox has three main access depending on the category of user: write processing chains in C++ using existing filters or creating new ones, use the OTB applications, which is a plugin-based framework allowing to extend high-level processing chains from various environment ( command-line, QT, QGis, Python....) or use Monteverdi, a software for everyday life image manipulation and analysis.

This program gets data from a GPS, parses it, and calculate things such as acceleration and distance traveled. That is then saved it to a CSV file. Also shows data in real time and has a speedometer to show your speed in real time (in KM/h or MPH).
Analyze and change GPS coordinates and time in digital pictures
Version: 2.1.1 (BugFix in GMLib) GPS–Koordinaten in Digitalaufnahmen sind hilfreich zur Einordnung der Bilder. Leider dauert es oft länger, bis die Kamera die korrekten GPS-Daten ermittelt hat. Manchmal kann kein GPS-Signal empfangen werden. Es wäre daher hilfreich, wenn man die Daten bei der Sichtung der Bilder ergänzen oder korrigieren kann. Dies wird durch das Programm unterstützt. Das Programm scannt zunächst die Bilder in einem Verzeichnis und ermittelt fehlende Daten oder Ungereimtheiten in den Daten. Per Drag&Drop können die Koordinaten oder die GPS-Zeit korrigiert oder ergänzt werden. Zur Unterstützung wird auf GoogleMaps zurückgegriffen. Erweiterungen: Umbenennen und Tracken ohne Installation ausführbar unter Windows XP, 7 und 8. German and English is supported. Program runs under Windows XP,7 and 8 (maybe others too) Just download it (and unzip) and run it.

UAVphoto is a simple tool that allows to calculate parameters like ground pixel size, motion blur and sequential image overlap from UAV flight parameters (velocity and altitude) and camera parameters (focal length etc.). Calculation assumes vertical camera view.Image x dimensions are those in flight direction, image y dimensions are those perpendicular to flight direction. Default camera values are for Canon G12 at the wide angle limit. Five to six seconds is the approximate minimum image interval using a CHDK (http://chdk.wikia.com) interval script. In continous shooting mode, a minimum interval of approximately one second can be achieved.
