GPXSee is a GPS log file viewer and analyzer that supports GPX, TCX, KML, FIT, IGC and NMEA files.
QLandkarte GT is the ultimate outdoor aficionado's tool. It supports GPS maps in GeoTiff format as well as Garmin's img vector map format. Additional it is the PC side front end to QLandkarte M, a moving map application for mobile devices.
GPS track editor for editing tracks and planning (multiple) day tours
JGPSTrackEdit is a tool for editing gps tracks and planning (multiple days) tours (GPS track editor). An abritary number of tracks may be opened or created, tracks may be merged. A track may be splitted, reversed or edited (e.g. compressed and corrected). Points may be inserted or appended to a track (routing supported) or may be moved or deleted from a track. Maps of several providers are available, the default map is OpenStreetMap. Currently supported track formats: garmin route, gpx and txc, kml, import from www.gpsies.com. JGPSTrackEdit my also be used to download tile images for later offline use by smartphone apps. JGPSTrackEdit is written in the java language. PCRaster environmental modeling software
Note: Active projects have been copied to Github: https://github.com/pcraster PCRaster is a collection of tools and software libraries tailored to the construction of spatio-temporal environmental models. Application domains are amongst others hydrology (rainfall-runoff, global water balance, groundwater (with Modflow)), ecology, or land use change. Two scripting languages (PCRcalc and Python) include a rich set of spatial operations for manipulating and analysing raster maps. A Python framework supports Monte Carlo simulations and data assimilation (Ensemble Kalman Filter and Particle Filter). The Aguila tool allows for the interactive visualisation of stochastic spatio-temporal data.

UAVphoto is a simple tool that allows to calculate parameters like ground pixel size, motion blur and sequential image overlap from UAV flight parameters (velocity and altitude) and camera parameters (focal length etc.). Calculation assumes vertical camera view.Image x dimensions are those in flight direction, image y dimensions are those perpendicular to flight direction. Default camera values are for Canon G12 at the wide angle limit. Five to six seconds is the approximate minimum image interval using a CHDK (http://chdk.wikia.com) interval script. In continous shooting mode, a minimum interval of approximately one second can be achieved.
Search and download satellite images
RS Downloader offers access to satellite image data pools. Via web interface the user is able to search and download specified satellite images. This version is an alpha and while running stable, currently only retrieves products from NASAs LP DAAC data pool (see https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/data_access/data_pool). Further versions will include updated parsers and spatial selection UIs to access other available sources.

Il programma si occupa semplicemente di effettuare la trasformazione delle coordinate per i codici epsg e di visualizzarle su Google maps. Le coordinate trasformate si possono salvare e stampare. Richiede java 8 per funzionare. Per installazione completa cliccare su browse all file e scaricare TrasfSianItalia35.zip. Per gli aggiornamenti scaricare solo TrasfSianItalia(ultima versione).jar e sostituirlo nella directory di destinazione.

A Landsat 8 scene viewer
Viewpix allows the user to load all eleven bands of a Landsat 8 Level 1 data set into memory concurrently. You can scroll and view each band at full resolution. Change bands instantly with a single key press. Band 8 is 15 meters resolution, all other bands are 30m resolution. A 30m resolution gray scale scene is generated by Viewpix and is presented as band 12. Each Landsat 8 scene is roughly 190 X 180 kilometers. Viewpix was originally written as a simple platform to test GPU software on low end computer systems. This is the "lite" version of Viewpix as it has no cuda filters installed. Viewpix is written in C. It is tested on Ubuntu and Centos. It should work with most current Linux distributions. Viewpix runs efficiently on computers with modest CPU's such as low power mini-ITX boards. It is known to work nicely on Intel NUC, AMD A6 SOC , and NVIDIA TX2. A multiple core cpu, 8 GB ram, and a large capacity hard drive are suggested.

Convert GPS-Tracks user-saved tracks to KML files for Google Earth.
Convert user-saved tracks from GPS-Tracks for iPhone to KML files for Google Earth. The GPS-Tracks iPhone application is available from the App Store or from http://www.gps-tracks.com . It can save recorded GPS tracks to the iPhone storage. This little Java applet provides the functionality to convert these saved tracks to KML files, for use with Google earth. Under Windows, it uses the synced files from the iTunes phone files backup, and extracts the tracks from there. Under Linux, it uses the virtual file system provided by libgpod (which provides an iPhone-gvfs-bridge) and gvfs-fuse (which offers gvfs virtual filesystems as Linux FUSE filesystems). Please note that this app is rather rudimentary. If you run into problems, please open a ticket to describe the issue; time permitting, I'll try to fix it.
