User data exported from later model Garmin GPSmap marine GPS sets consists of ADM files written to a VFAT-formatted SD card. This data includes user-generated waypoints and routes, and recorded GPS tracks. adm2gpx converts this data to industry-standard GPX records that may be imported into third-party mapping and GPS software.

a space-time interpolation geostatistical tool
This software is a time-aware geostatistical tool. Including time variability adds further issues to the already complicated field of geostatistical interpolation. On the other hand, most of the distributions of variables used in Earth and environmental sciences show patterns of change over time, not only in space. This tool is a free, open-source software, based on a generalization of the Inverse Distance Weighted algorithm. It outputs three-dimensional, layered discrete models from which time series and equal-time GIS Grid layers can be extracted.

Sight Reduction for Air Navigation with Python
This Python TK application calculates a good set of stars for a 3 star fix, makes all calculations similar to the FAAs Celestial Computation Sheet (see FAA doc FAA-H-8083-18). Also, you can create a PDF file that generates Pub 249 Vol 1 for any epoch you specify. The PUB249 as PDF for the next 2 years is found under "Files". I wrote this for my aircraft bubble octant :-) It is mainly useful for air navigation as it assumes a bubble sextant but may be used for normal sextants as well. Requires Ephem and ReportLab (optional for PDF output) Not to be used for real-world navigation!

HappyGnu uses GPS tracklogs to locate the position where digital images were taken. The found GPS coordinates can be stored in the EXIF data of the images. It also supports reverse geocoding and KMZ file creation for viewing the images with Google Earth.
