BioSARN is an environmental niche model refinement tool
BioSARN (Biological Species Approximate Realized Niche) refines environmental niche model output using topographic, soil and land class filtering, enhanced temporal corridor definition, niche area quantification and output to a high spatial resolution land class model. This is a Java™ Desktop MicroSoft Windows Application with a simple GUI. Preferably BioSARN should be used with 64-bit Java and a substantial RAM as the application reads input files into memory to minimize compute times.

Ready-to-use appliance for GIS, Data Mining and Analysis, Modelling...
GISBox by Citiviz is a ready-to-use virtual appliance containing an assortment of powerful, free and open source GIS, Data Mining and Analysis, Modelling and Programming software and packages. The pre-configured and tested GISBox allows you to try and use in few minutes a variety of software used by data scientists, engineers, physicists, mathematicians, geomatics engineers, and geographers from around the globe, without installing anything more than once the Oracle VirtualBox™ software (https://www.virtualbox.org/) on your Linux, Windows or Mac computer. The GISBox is free and open, allowing it to be freely distributed, duplicated and passed around, even with your own datasets and in-house applications. If you read this and are related to the Ecole polytechnique de Lausanne - EPFL (http://www.epfl.ch) in Switzerland, please use this link for downloading or support information: http://gisbox.epfl.ch. Happy (geo)Data Hacking! Brought to you by Citiviz' Builders
Application to browse and visualize your GPS files
Desktop application for browsing and visualizing GPS files on your local storage or on network. * Quickly navigate your GPS files using embedded file/track/metadata browser * Works with gpx, kml, and csv files * Show overview map of all tracks in directory * Filter tracks in browser based on metadata, location, and path * Color code track overview based on metadata, e.g., overall distance, start time * Simultaneously view one or more tracks on map while graphing detailed metadata (e.g., speed, elevation, hill gradient) * Quickly determine distance and duration for portions of tracks by mousing or dragging in the graph. Use this to see exactly how different routes compare in time and distance Written in WxPython+Matplotlib. Windows executable available; Mac and Linux can be run via script.
Load, modify and save your GPX 1.1 files. Add and remove waypoints, edit track and routes, simplify tracks (reducing file's size), clean recorded data, add and edit GPX metadata, edit waypoint, route and track properties, all with real-time preview.
Geographic feature extraction and data mining
GeoDMA is a plugin for TerraView software, used for geographical data mining. With a single image, the user can perform segmentation, attributes extraction, normalization and classification.
Geospatial Distributed Version Control System
NOTE: this project has been renamed as GeoGig. Use this URL to get to the GeoGig downloads: https://sourceforge.net/p/geogig Welcome to the GeoGit project, exploring the use of distributed management of spatial data. GeoGit draws inspiration from Git, but adapts its core concepts to handle versioning of geospatial data. Users are able to import raw geospatial data (currently from Shapefiles, PostGIS or SpatiaLite) in to a repository where every change to the data is tracked. These changes can be viewed in a history, reverted to older versions, branched in to sandboxed areas, merged back in, and pushed to remote repositories.
Geoportal Server is a standards-based, open source product that enables discovery and use of geospatial resources including data and services.
GraphCAD is a pseudo 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) program to modeling dinamic and static objects, basics on graph theory. GraphCAD may be used as GIS, Medical Disgnostic, Engineering, Education and Mathematical modeling tool.
Converts Google Earth KML file to a CSV file, and vice versa. This enables you to plot all custom POIs with Google Earth first before transferring them into your Garmin GPS using the POI Loader.
Kalypso is an open source application for geospatial modelling and simulation. It is primarily developed to be a user friendly tool for GIS-based modelling and simulation of hydrological and hydraulic numerical models.
MapEdit++ is an open source GPSMapEdit extension. MapEdit++ extends editor, analyzer, picture loader, importer and exporter.

Offline vector map display ported from OsmAnd
An offline map viewer for the Desktop based on OsmAnd.
A reference implementation of the Polish geobotanical grid
This project is a reference, open source implementation of the coordinate conversion algorithms for the Polish geobotanical grid called ATPOL.
The Openstreetmap client can be used to access the map data of the Openstreetmap project without using a browser. The user can browse the maps, save the maps on his local PC.
VB.net interface file for OziApi.dll. Provides the necessary interface definitions such that a VB.NEt application can call the OziExplorer API (OZIAPI.DLL)
Look up in river distances in the Penobscot River drainage.
Allows user to input a .csv of UTM coordinates within the Penobscot River basin and calculates in-river distance (in kilometers) from the river's mouth to the locations of interest. The results are output into a new .csv file named yourfilename+RKM.csv. For the purposes of this calculator, river kilometer 0 is located at 516414E 4927755N in UTM Zone 19N, near the southwest corner of Verona Island. Simply download the setup file and run it to install the program. Please contact me with suggestions to improve this program.
QGIS Plugin to Read/Write xml metadata files associated with geospatial file formats.
QNetMap is the library for displaying the map and the objects on it
The project has moved to GitHub (see https://github.com/vasyutin/qnetmap). The project is based on the QMapControl library (http://qmapcontrol.sourceforge.net/) by Kai Winter. To show the map QNetMap can use different providers like OpenStreetMap or other WMS servers. The map data can be downloaded from the Internet or from the disk cache. User's own raster maps can also be used. QNetMap supports layers so you can mix maps from different servers. To enrich the map presentation you can draw your own objects in the given coordinates. The development of the library was supported by "Sintels" LLC (ЗАО "Синтелс" - http://sintels.ru) and OJSC "T8" (ОАО "Т8" - https://t8.ru). Written by Sergey Shumeyko and Sergey Vasyutin.
Wrapper for QNetMap library
This is a library that allows applications that does not use Qt to use the QNetMap library (https://sourceforge.net/projects/qnetmap/). Library developed in the T8 LLC (http://t8.ru). Written and supported by Sergey Shumeyko.
RouteConverter is another route conversion tool. It helps me and I hope it could help you.
SAGA - System for Automated Geoscientific Analyses - is a Geographic Information System (GIS) software with immense capabilities for geodata processing and analysis. SAGA is programmed in the object oriented C++ language and supports the implementation of new functions with a very effective Application Programming Interface (API). Functions are organised as modules in framework independent Module Libraries and can be accessed via SAGA’s Graphical User Interface (GUI) or various scripting environments (shell scripts, Python, R, ...). Please provide the following reference in your work if you are using SAGA: Conrad, O., Bechtel, B., Bock, M., Dietrich, H., Fischer, E., Gerlitz, L., Wehberg, J., Wichmann, V., and Boehner, J.
