    Geodysseus is a cross platform OpenGL interactive map projection and navigation program. The user clicks on a map or 3D globe to create geodetic traverses. The geodesic can then be approximated with any number of loxodrome legs. Tracks may then be re-projected onto different map projections. The aim is to make a multi-purpose navigational tool for Land, Sea and Air. At present, the program is in early development and should not be considered suitable for navigation. The program comes with documentation in html format.

    JGPSTrackEdit is a tool for editing gps tracks and planning (multiple days) tours (GPS track editor). An abritary number of tracks may be opened or created, tracks may be merged. A track may be splitted, reversed or edited (e.g. compressed and corrected). Points may be inserted or appended to a track (routing supported) or may be moved or deleted from a track. Maps of several providers are available, the default map is OpenStreetMap. Currently supported track formats: garmin route, gpx and txc, kml, import from www.gpsies.com. JGPSTrackEdit my also be used to download tile images for later offline use by smartphone apps. JGPSTrackEdit is written in the java language. Application domains are amongst others hydrology (rainfall-runoff, global water balance, groundwater (with Modflow)), ecology, or land use change. Two scripting languages (PCRcalc and Python) include a rich set of spatial operations for manipulating and analysing raster maps. A Python framework supports Monte Carlo simulations and data assimilation (Ensemble Kalman Filter and Particle Filter). The Aguila tool allows for the interactive visualisation of stochastic spatio-temporal data.
