Icarus Verilog is an open source Verilog compiler that supports the IEEE-1364 Verilog HDL including IEEE1364-2005 plus extensions.
Draws signalling charts, block diagrams and graphs from text input.
A tool to draw various charts from textual description. Currently, three types of charts are supported: Message Sequence Charts, generic graphs and Block Diagrams, with more to be added in the future. You can embed the charts in a document or presentation on Windows. There is a command-line version for linux, replacing mscgen. See the Wiki for detailed user and code documentation. Gábor Németh has volunteered to maintain a debian package for Ubuntu and has also developed a small GUI. See install instructions on the Wiki.
Simple But Powerful VIM Based Build Environment With Flex & Bison
The project's main purpose is to combine the existing open source tools into a powerful development environment. This is not just a Visual Studio like development environment, but also a Notepad upgrade, which can also be used to perform common tasks in daily use.
lilpM32 is a MIPS-like processor designed in Logisim, assembler program and documentation for them. Complete assembler and fully functional instruction set with I/O and subroutines features allow to write full-blown complicated programs.
amilab is a tool for image processing that includes its own scripting language, and an interface for visualizing 2d/3d images and 3d surfaces. Its main application is medical image processing.
sequence/structural analysis programs
A suite of statistically-based programs for inferring joint sequence-structural determinants of protein functional specificity written in C/C++ within a linux environment.
Blackboard implements a lightweight, portable tuple space suitable for multi-agent system and distributed component design. Supports implicit invocation via content-filtered asynchronous events, blocking call semantics, and shared memory messaging.
Hierarchical VCD Viewer is new trace file viewer. It's based on Qt 3.3.4 (migrating to Qt 4.1) graphic library and its main feature is to provide a hierarchical view of VCD trace file.
This project is no longer hosted in sourceforge but in github: https://github.com/ibex-team/ibex-lib/
MGFp is open parser implementation for the Mascot Generic Format (MGF). It uses bison/flex to define a formal grammar and provides the necessary C++ adapter classes. The software is provided under a BSD license. Development on SF.net has ceased. You can find the project at http://kirchnerlab.github.com/libmgf/
An Open Source Parser Library for parsing Verilog, System Verilog, EDIF and VHDL source files.
A strong, yet minimalistic Math-oriented Programming Language (MML) providing an easy-to-use console and a command-line script interpreter, targetted towards fast calculations for extremely big numbers, and bundled with a number of math libraries.
Pear3DEngine is a modern and modular 3D development framework
Pear3DEngine is a modern and modular 3D development framework that lets you create professional games, simulations and more. You are free to develop your program in C + +, XML or LUA and publish it as open source software or selling it as a commercial program. The rendering engine uses internally OpenGL or DirectX optionally. The planned editor supports software development on Linux, Windows and maybe MacOS X. DirectX 9 and therefore Windows XP are currently not supported and support is not planned in the future. One goal of the Pear3DEngine Framework is to use the latest and most promising algorithms and techniques from the 3D and IT scene.
Phight - a phylogeny tree building program Currently, it supports Likelihood method and distance method. This program will includes diagnostic function as a special feature.
linroute is an attempt at making unix/linux route detection/delivery without depending on the underlying os/protocols/drivers.
two experimental AI languages + zubr
Two experimental AI languages - Perkun and its successor Wlodkowic. Attempt to maximize the expected value of the payoff function by appropriate choosing the actions (output variables values). The package contains also a tool called zubr - a Java code generator based on Perkun. Take also a look at my blog: http://pawel-biernacki.blogspot.fi/ For Windows users there is an installer: http://www.pawelbiernacki.net/perkun.msi
Project is not hosted here any more! Check www.toped.org.uk for further info!
