MathMod is a mathematical modeling software that visualize and animate implicit and parametric surfaces. MathMod supports: 3D and 4D plotting and animation, OBJ output file format, Textue and pigmentation support, Noise and Turbulence effects support,Large set of scripted examples. Changelog for MathMod-7.0 (11/02/2018) 1) Add support for complex scripts involving more than 100 functions declarations (previous versions were practically limited to less than 12 functions declarations). 2) Add six new scripts to generate plain-weave and wireframe patterns over any parametric surface (added at the bottom of the parametric models list (Sinus/Catenoid/Knots)_Plain_weave and wireframe_(sinus/shell/knots) ) . 3) Add new function CmpId(n) to return the index of the component under calculation (see "Wireframe_Shell" script). 4) Code cleaning and optimization. Python binding to the libindi library
This project offers a python binding to the libindi library. It uses the Simplified Wrapper and Interface Generator (SWIG). You may generate a PyIndi module which mainly defines an IndiClient class. This class could be used to build python scripts able to interact with indi servers using sendNew* methods and implementing new* methods of the BaseMediator class. PyQt applications may also be built on top of IndiClient, thus allowing rapid development of GUI Indi clients. Besides Python there are also bindings for node.js, Tcl (incomplete) and PHP (not useful). As application examples you will find a Python Websocket server with which you may build a web application interacting with Indi servers, and a simple PyQt application similar to the Kstars Indi Control Panel (was built as an exercise). Finally there is an equatorial mount 3D simulator written with Freecad and Python, planned to be connected with the PyIndi module.

BEE Lab is a platform for designing and executing experiments
BEE Lab is a system that provides a complete solution for designing and executing behavioral and experimental economics experiments. Primary capabilities: A web-based client side that doesn't require any plug-ins A high level of both usability and functionality The capability to conduct singular or group experiments, without limiting the group size or the geographic location of the subjects The capacity to execute experiment sessions both in an open internet environment and in a closed lab environment The freedom to design experiments, with no limitation to a preprogrammed set of experiments or games The ability to allow subjects to communicate with one another when desired The capability to collect data dynamically, and to export data to an open format, such as CSV BEE Lab’s robustness and adaptability allow designing publicly open experiments in order to invite subjects from external sources, such as Amazon Mechanical Turk and social networks.

DEW is a platform that allows users to explore RNA-Seq data
DEW is a platform that allows users to explore RNA-Seq data. A web-based Graphical User Interface is included. The analysis proceeds as such: gapped alignments are performed and corrected for length, PCR and fragment bias so that a Fragment Per (effective) Kilobase per Million of reads (FPKM) is estimated as well as the simpler Reads Per Kb per Million of reads (RPKM). When provided with multiple isoforms and in the ‘contextual’ mode, corrections include a expectation maximization algorithm estimates effective expression profiles and a corrected alignment is produced. For each gene the user provides, DEW computes coverage descriptive statistics (RPKM, FKMP and total, mean and median corrected counts), expression profiles (normalized as R/FPKM and trimmed mean of fold change). DEW allows users to explore the data by providing interactive graphs.

A simulation environment for physiology models simulation
The OpenHealhPractice Simulation Environment is a web framework intended to concurrently manage and launch generalized models. Models can be uploaded by the users and also can be connected to other models in order to simulate them in a row. These simulations are stored and can be reviewed or deleted at anytime. The Graphical Visualization Environment (GVE) provides the graphical visualization of the simulation results. Results can also be exported to different formats (xls, txt or csv). This simulation environment is built using Spring Framework and Java technologies. For more information on how to deploy and use the tool, check the installation and user manuals. This tool was developed within the Synergy project. You can view our publication about the Simulation Environment here: http://www.translational-medicine.com/content/12/S2/S7 The rest of the publication outcomes of the project can be found here: http://www.translational-medicine.com/supplements/12/S2
The complexity of cellular networks is an outstanding challenge for documentation, visualisation and mathematical modelling. In this project, we develop a new way to describe these networks that minimises the combinatorial complexity and allows an automatic visualisation and export of mathematical (ODE/rulebased) models.
