A GUI library for designing gauges, meters, oscilloscopes, plotters
A library that is intended for designing high-quality industrial control widgets for Ada applications. The widgets are composed of transparent layers drawn by cairo. The widgets are fully scalable graphics. A time controlled refresh policy is supported for real-time and heavy-duty applications. The library supports caching graphical operations and stream I/O for serialization and deserialization. Ready-to-use gauge, meter, oscilloscope widgets are provided as samples as well as an editor widget for WYSIWYG design of complex dashboards. The software is based on GtkAda and cairoada, the Ada bindings to GTK+ and cairo.
String editing and formatting library for Ada
Strings edit is a library that provides I/O facilities for integers, floating-point numbers, Roman numerals, and strings. Both input and output subroutines support string pointers for consequent stream processing. The output can be aligned in a fixed size field with padding. Numeric input can be checked against expected values range to be either saturated or to raise an exception. For floating-point output either relative or absolute output precision can be specified. UTF-8 encoded strings are supported, including wildcard pattern matching, sets and maps of code points, upper/lowercase, and other Unicode categorizations.
Tables indexed by strings
This library provides an implementation of tables indexed by strings. The binary search is used for names of known length. It is also possible to search a table for names of unknown length, i.e. to parse a string using some table. Table elements can be of any private type. Key- insensitive tables are supported.
How to philosophize with internetworked electronic computing machinery
Toward A Philosophy Of Computing begins as a dissertation proposal in Texts and Technology at the University of Central Florida that explores doing philosophy by programming. See the project wiki for the proposal.

A "gumbo" of tools and concepts supporting rich client applications with 2D/3D user interfaces. Expands on the code from the book "3D User Interfaces with Java 3D", and includes a generous contribution of RCP code from Meyer Sound. Recent work includes a Norden bombsight simulator, with terrain rendering based on NASA's WorldWind SDK. For this effort YourKit has generously made available its full-featured Java Profiler (https://www.yourkit.com/java/profiler/index.jsp), which has proved invaluable in improving simulator performance.
A manufactured model of a generic English language parser
The goal of S1ParseEN is to leverage the MSS Code Factory technology to produce a fast generic English language parse structure for population by a future semantic analyzer project. One goal of the project is to be able to model parsed keywords and link them to lookups from a thesaurus to a foreign language thesaurus, and then vote on the resulting candidates and a syntax bender to a foreign language. Pure theory, but I think that describes the transform that I want to build under the guise of this seed project.
To give users the full control over the running application. This means that an application is working according to its purpose but the control over the whole interface is taken from developer and given to users. While an application is running, users can move, resize, and tune all the screen objects through which the communication with an application is going. Set of files includes the book (both in DOC and PDF formats), a big demonstration project with all its files available (all the source files are in C#), and an additional description of many used classes. Book uses the examples from the demo project to explain everything in details. The examples are from many different areas. Examples from the first part of the book are aimed at the details of algorithm and its use with different objects; examples from the second part are mostly the real and very useful applications.
Zoomable user interface (ZUI) with file manager, file viewers and more
Eagle Mode is a zoomable user interface (ZUI) with file manager, file viewers, games, and more. This project is about a futuristic style of human-computer interaction, where the user can visit almost everything simply by zooming in. It features a portable C++ toolkit API for developing such ZUIs, and it features the Eagle Mode application, which provides a virtual cosmos with plugin applications. The most important one is the professional file manager with its rich, scriptable command set. It integrates file viewers for most of the common file types, as well as an audio and video player. Furthermore, the virtual cosmos contains a chess game, a netwalk game, a 3D minesweeper game, a world clock, some fractal fun, and a Linux kernel configurator in form of a kernel patch. Eagle Mode runs best on Linux, but there is also a light version for Windows, which lacks some of the plugins.

PiXtend® multiplies the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi and forms the ideal basis for challenging projects. The PiXtend Platform provides numerous digital and analog inputs & outputs as well as a variety of serial interfaces like RS232, RS485 and CAN. In this repository you can find the Linux C library called "pxdev" that can be used to develop your own Linux applications for the PiXtend system (V1 & V2). Sample programs for every PiXtend version are also included in this repository. The build file compiles them all - the library itself and the sample programs. Find out more about this on our website: https://www.pixtend.de or https://www.pixtend.com
Semantics Visualization for Information Visualization and Analysis
Semantics Visualizations enable understanding complex matters in an easy way. The research group “Semantics Visualization” is working on processing, enriching, and visualizing any kind of semantic data to provide visually discoverable information. Thereby processes of knowledge acquisition, human information retrieval, and decision making are supported by a variety of interactive visual representations. The developed visualizations do not only allow to investigate the masses amount of various semantic formats on Web, e.g. Linked- Data or Social Networks, they also enable the interactive illustration of structured data. With SemaVis we developed a technology that provides various perspectives on the semantics of information. By combining different visualization techniques users and enterprises are able to perceive various data and information characteristics. SemaVis enables a facilitate human access to the “Internet of Data”.
