ASCOM driver for the LittleFoot Elegance Photo (LFEP) telescope controller. Firmware 6.x is fully supported - firmware 5.x is partially supported (all LFEP features are available but configuration is only possible by handbox). Contains drivers for telescope, focuser, camera, filter wheel, roof controller and dew heater which shares a single connection to the controller.
This desktop application provides graphical control of K8055, a USB Experiment Interface Board by Velleman (http://www.velleman.eu/). It will be mostly platform-independend at a later time. The current (beta) version is for windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 on 32Bit. It is incompatible with all other Operating Systems and with 64Bit architecture. I stopped developing this application. Dynamic Generalized Relevance Learning Vector Quantization
Some of the usual problems for Learning vector quantization (LVQ) based methods are that one cannot optimally guess about the number of prototypes required for initialization for multimodal data structures i.e.these algorithms are very sensitive to initialization of prototypes and one has to pre define the optimal number of prototypes before running the algorithm. If a prototype, for some reasons, is ‘outside’ the cluster which it should represent and if there are points of a different categories in between, then the other points act as a barrier and the prototype will not find its optimum position during training. Since the model complexity is not known in many cases, we avoid this problem by introducing a "Dynamic" version of LVQ. Dynamic-GRLVQ (DGRLVQ), which adapts the model complexity to the given problem during training by adding or removing prototypes dynamically/realtime one by one for each category until satisfactory classification results are achieved.
NMR relaxation dispersion spectroscopy analysis software
NESSY is an open source software to analyse NMR relaxation dispersion data of either CPMG or R1p (R1rho) dispersion experiments. The graphical interface enables simple management of large experimental data sets and simple and automated analysis. NESSY automatically calculates effective transverse relaxation rate (R2eff) and performs model selection between different relaxation dispersion models.

Analizing misorientation angles after EBSD Scan

The program interface makes it easy to build a chart divided into appropriate intervals of tilt angles (eg, divided into low-angle (2-15 ˚) and of large-(over 15 ˚) limits). Autorun enabler for VBA macro in Inventor 2014 projects
This plugin enables some unsupported functionalities for Autodesk Inventor 2014. Autodesk doesn't support Autorun macro for VBA projects anymore, but with this plugin it is still possible to use the commands "AutoOpen", "AutoEdit", "AutoSave", "AutoClose" and "AutoNew" subroutines stored within "ThisDocument" module.

Cis-element prediction tool from microarray data
We developed a novel clustering-free method, microarray-associated motif analyzer (MAMA), to predict novel cis-acting elements based on weighted sequence similarities and gene expression profiles in microarray analyses. Simulation of gene expression was performed using a support vector machine and based on the presence of predicted motifs and motif pairs. The accuracy of simulated gene expression was used to evaluate the quality of prediction and to optimize the parameters used in this method. After optimization, MAMA accurately simulated more than 87% of gene expression. See Kakei Y, Ogo Y, Itai RN, et al. Pear3DEngine is a modern and modular 3D development framework that lets you create professional games, simulations and more. You are free to develop your program in C + +, XML or LUA and publish it as open source software or selling it as a commercial program. The rendering engine uses internally OpenGL or DirectX optionally. The planned editor supports software development on Linux, Windows and maybe MacOS X. DirectX 9 and therefore Windows XP are currently not supported and support is not planned in the future. One goal of the Pear3DEngine Framework is to use the latest and most promising algorithms and techniques from the 3D and IT scene.

Le projet a été réalisé pour le cours de Génie logiciel orienté objet, donné par M. Jonathan Gaudreault à l'Université Laval. Le projet consistait à développer un logiciel de modélisation de réseau de files d’attente, aussi appelé un réseau de Jackson. Chaque nœud du réspeau représente une station de traitement et chaque arc orienté représente un chemin possible d’une station à une autre. Le réseau possède toujours un point d’arrivée et de sortie. Un tel réseau peut, par exemple, représenter la zone de sécurité d’un aéroport, l’urgence d’un hôpital ou une chaîne de montage. Editor for Petri nets
Wolfgang is a lightweight tool that allows users to easily create and edit Petri nets and check them against general and workflow specific net properties. Specifically, Wolfgang supports full PNML conform editing functionality of Place-Transition Nets (P/T-Nets) and Colored Petri Nets (CPN) as they are defined in the SEPIA package. Its simple and easy to use interface allows to quickly create Petri nets from scratch, edit them graphically in many ways, store and even export them as PDFs. xbit2xbyte and xbyte2xbit are designed as sample programs for programmers new to C# as well as a learning tool for the author. These two programs also fulfilled a genuine need to convert to xbits (megabit usually) to xbytes (megabytes, again usually) when dealing with things such as cartridge sizes ,which are generally expressed in megabits, and something the author frequently encountered. Thus, xbit can be used to convert whatever bit (mega, giga, etc.) to whatever byte (again, mega, giga, etc.), and the sister program can be used to convert the opposite way.
