Echoes it's a radio spectral analysis software for RTL-SDR devices, designed for meteor scattering purposes. RTL-SDR are very cheap Software Defined Radios that uses DVB-T TV tuner dongles based on Realtek's RTL2832U chipset. Echoes doesn't demodulate neither decode any human-made signal. Its main goal is to analyze and record the total power of natural signals and generate screenshots and tabular data (CSV, GNUplot) output in presence of particular peaks in a selected narrow range of frequencies. Since there is no demodulation, there is no provision for audio listening, except for a notify sound when an event has been recorded.

HSPI can control the CCD camera, the mount, the focuser, the filter wheel and the dome from a single interface, and not only this: these features can be added on as many observatories and instrumentations you want. HSPI is ASCOM and INDI compatible, so if you want to use particular setups like Linux computers connected with your instrumentation and control them from remote then HSPI is your choice! After a few clicks you can see the images coming from your cameras connected through Internet or your LAN. HSPI saves your pictures in various formats: Bitmap, FIT, JPEG, PNG, TIFF are the picture formats supported.
Moon calendar: shows moon's phase, signs and relatives plant's part
MoonPlanner is a Java calendar that allow to view moon's phases, moon's signs (constellations in which the moon is), and show the part of the plant corresponding to each sign (flower, fruit, leaf or root). For every calendar's day the user can attach notes (that are stored in a persistent database). At the startup the program will remind you if there will be notes for current day. Timezones and localizations (En, IT) are supported by the application. This calendar is usable between 1900 and 2020. This tool can be useful to plan gardening tasks or to view some astrology informations. References and requirements: - JRE/JDK version 1.5 or later must be installed on host computer. - UI are made using SWT by Eclipse (see http://www.eclipse.org/swt/). - The software uses AstroLib library version 1.1.5 provided by Mark Huss to calculate Moon's phases (http://mhuss.com/AstroLib.html). - The software uses Apache Derby 10.9.1.0 (http://db.apache.org/derby/) as embedded database.
