SysTools is a library of utility routines & classes for Borland Delphi, C++Builder, & environments that support COM. It includes 1-D & 2-D bar codes, sorting, money routines, logging, high-precision math, a run-time math expression analyzer, & much more.
A software for ATM telescope automation
SoundStepper is a "100% software" telescope controller, for Windows, using audio hardware to control step motors at real time. All it requires to operate are external step motor drives, which can be a commercial "pulse/direction" drive or analog current amplifiers.
Planetary Ephemerides DLL Library for Microsoft Windows and Excel
Planetary Ephemerides A Dynamic Link Library (DLL) for Microsoft® Windows™ And also an Addin to use with Microsoft® Office™ Excel Planetary Ephemerides implements several functions to get positions of major and minor planets and artificial satellites, using well known solutions developed and released by development centers as "Jet Propulsion Laboratory" (JPL), Institut De Mécanique Céleste Et De Calcul Des Éphémérides" (IMCCE) and "North American Aerospace Defense Command" (NORAD). It needs binary files to get JPL DEXXX ephemerides and IMCCE INPOPXX ephemerides. The library also implements VSOP87 ephemerides, which do not need any external files. It also implements SGP4/SDP4 ephemerides for artificial satellites, by calling the sgp4 function delivered by David A. Vallado. Positions of minor planets from its orbital elements. SOFA functions call. WARNING: Excel Addin has become unreliable in Excel 2013 and above. Using it may cause unexpected results.
An astronomical Open source Delphi project for : robotic telescope, autoguiding, astrophotography and advanced astronomical image processing. It is developing continuously by author. Some other astronomical test, ideas and source code => See my site for new informations (for amateur and Delphi programmers.) New: STAFImage : image process and blinkcomparator for astrophotographer Some other astronomical test, ideas and source code => See my site for new informations (for amateur and Delphi programers.)
I can not find a simple graphical rutin to draw a geographic sphere with geo-coordinate grid on the Canvas. I need to move , rotete this globe and change the eye point. And an other function to get a geographic coordinates from mouse position.
Simulator of planetary systems
This is a Delphi/Pascal class that implements a realistic simulator of planetary systems. You can design your own solar system, create custom planets or other objects and establish their gravitational relations using groups. See demos for Windows using OpenGL.
Modelling galaxy disk shape aberration
Let suppose a galaxy to be just a disk of stars, mainly double. For each star we have an aberration -v/c which visually moves it to another position, so we view galaxy disk optically changed. This modelling allows to see which shapes we can see from different distances for disks tilted by a certain angle.
Historical Date & Time calculator written in Delphi to convert to and from date and time formats current and past (i.e. Gregorian, Julian, etc).
This program calculates approaching solar eclipses. For this purpose, it calculates the positions of sun, moon, mercury and venus in the horizontal coordinate system. These values can be visualized and exported in many common formats.
Turns your display red to preserve night vision
As an amateur astrophotographer, I like to use a small laptop to control my gear, the problem is that a standard display will ruin your acquired night vision. This program turns (temporarily) everything red to minimize the impact of the display on your night vision. You may want to install a red cursor scheme, one is included (from Oxygen Cursors by LAvalon in GPL 3.0) in the source distribution.
