A C# interface for the TWAIN image capture API, that also includes a toolkit layer, a diagnostic application and a sample application.
Scanning albums is not an easy task, since the extraction of actual photographs within scans is usually very tedious.
This tool allows you to scan as much as you can fit into your scanner and then semi-automatedly extract the contained photographs.

Akshara Malayalam OCR is a project for the development of an OCR for printed and handwritten documents in Malayalam language. The inspiration is from similar OCR softwares in other languages etc.
This project was used to develop an OS-independent driver for the CanoScan FB630U flatbed scanner in the form of a backend for the SANE package. Since integration with the SANE project in 2002, there has been no activity here.
