hSDM is an R package for hierarchical species distribution models. Such models allows interpreting the observations (occurrence and abundance of a species) as a result of several hierarchical processes including ecological processes (habitat suitability, spatial dependence and anthropogenic disturbance) and observation processes (species detectability). Hierarchical species distribution models are essential for accurately characterizing the environmental response of species, predicting their probability of occurrence, and assessing uncertainty in the model results.

Processing of smallRNA-Seq data to gather biologically relevant information requires application of multiple statistical and bioinformatics tools from different sources, each focusing on a specific step of the analysis pipeline. The analytical workflow can be challenging for the continuous interventions by the operator, a critical factor when large numbers of datasets need to be analyzed at once. To allow a flexible and comprehensive analysis of smallRNA-Seq data we designed a novel modular pipeline, called iMir, integrating multiple open source modules and resource in an automated workflow, devising different statistical approaches to analyze data rigorously. iMir comprises also a Graphical User Interface (GUI), so that the pipeline is particularly suited for biologist and early stage bioinformaticians and produces both graphics and text outputs.

JRdistribution project is an attempt to combine a convenient GUI with the power of R language to compute probability distributions' parameters. We provide a dozen of probability distributions which you can analyze changing their parameters using both graphical interface and R console. Using the menu, any time you can get some useful output, e. g. expected value or probability density plot. You are also able to perform more complex computing being provided R console waiting for your orders.GUI and R console are connected and you can change the probability parameters in the graphical interface and then use them in your script. Moreover, when you change appropriate variables writing an R function, you can see the GUI synchronizing with it. An R package for metrology. metRology provides classes and calculation and plotting functions for metrology applications, including measurement uncertainty estimation and (eventually) inter-laboratory metrology comparison studies.

In metabolomics the goal is to identify and measure the concentrations of different metabolites (small molecules) in a cell or a biological system. The metabolites form an important layer in the complex metabolic network, and the interactions between different metabolites are often of interest. It is crucial to perform proper normalization of metabolomics data and here we share the code for a normalization approach based on a mixed model, with simultaneous estimation of a correlation matrix. The methodology is implemented in R.
