    Discord.SortedSet

    Discord.SortedSet

Elixir SortedSet backed by a Rust-based NIF

SortedSet NIF is a performant and reliable sorted set data structure for Elixir, implemented in Rust using the Rustler crate to take advantage of native performance while maintaining seamless integration with the BEAM ecosystem. It provides ordering and uniqueness guarantees, with all terms stored according to Elixir’s built-in sorting rules. Internally, it uses a vector of vectors layout rather than a single vector to minimize costly reallocations, allowing efficient bucket pointer copying instead of expensive term copying during growth. This design achieves a balance between performance and simplicity, and developers can customize bucket sizes for specific workloads, with a default of 500 offering solid performance across common scenarios. ...

    Holochain

    Holochain

The current, performant & industrial strength version of Holochain

Holochain is a post-blockchain framework for building agent-centric, distributed applications. Instead of using global consensus, Holochain enables each agent (user) to maintain their own local state while validating actions with a shared set of rules. This allows for scalable, secure, and resilient apps where data is owned and controlled by users. Ideal for social apps, cooperatives, and data sovereignty platforms, Holochain focuses on enabling collaboration without central servers or miners. It offers a complete toolkit for developers to create decentralized, peer-to-peer apps with built-in integrity and trust systems.

    git absorb

    git absorb

    git commit --fixup, but automatic

...Essentially, when your working directory has uncommitted changes on top of draft changesets, you can run hg absorb and the uncommitted modifications are automagically folded ("absorbed") into the appropriate draft ancestor changesets. This is essentially doing hg histedit + "roll" actions without having to make a commit or manually make history modification rules. The command essentially looks at the lines that were modified, finds a changeset modifying those lines, and amends that changeset to include your uncommitted changes. If the changes can't be made without conflicts, they remain uncommitted. This workflow is insanely useful for things like applying review feedback. You just make file changes, run hg absorb and the mapping of changes to commits sorts itself out. ...

    Meteroid

    Meteroid

    Open-source pricing and billing infrastructure

...It provides an API-driven billing engine: you feed Meteroid usage data from your application (e.g. API calls, storage usage, seats, feature usage), define custom pricing rules or plans, and Meteroid calculates charges, generates invoices, tracks usage, and supports cost limits or quotas. The system is written in Rust, emphasizing performance, reliability, and safety, making it suitable for production use in small startups up to large enterprises. Meteroid handles complexities like plan versioning, usage-based billing, re-invoicing, grandfathering of plans, experiments, and cost limiting — giving teams a robust billing backend without building one from scratch.

    corroded

    corroded

Set of utilities consisting of idiomatic and safe rust utilities

corroded is a Rust project that intentionally strips away Rust’s safety guarantees and idiomatic protections, offering utilities and patterns that prioritize raw power and freedom over the usual borrow checker enforcement or strict ownership rules. Its README and community reactions suggest a mix of satire and extreme experimentation: the project makes “unsafe” Rust easier to use by removing typical compile-time checks, pushing the language toward behavior more like C for cases where developers want total control. Although controversial, the code serves as an exploration of Rust internals and unsafe constructs, and it includes utilities intended to simplify memory management and pointer manipulation without safety checks. ...

    Lighthouse Ethereum

    Lighthouse Ethereum

    Ethereum consensus client in Rust

...We implement the specification as defined in the ethereum/consensus-specs repository. Becoming an Ethereum consensus validator is rewarding, but it's not for the faint of heart. You'll need to be familiar with the rules of staking (e.g., rewards, penalties, etc.) and also configuring and managing servers. You'll also need at least 32 ETH! Security-focused. Fuzzing techniques have been continuously applied and several external security reviews have been performed. Built in Rust, a modern language providing unique safety guarantees and excellent performance (comparable to C++). ...

...This exists on crates.io in part to enable the project to see wider usage, which can inform development. That said, this library is currently early stages and may have bugs - your usage of it is at your own risk. However, provided you follow the rules (regarding memory/ownership) it's already fine for some apps. The core repository has a wealth of examples to help you get started.
